Injuries or not, we would have rolled through the East regardless. Indiana though, would have been at home in round 1. They are not supposed to be where they are..

When talking hypotheticals everyone is right and everyone is wrong. I agree with you but that wasn't the point.

If the pacers don't belong the C's have every opportunity to prove that.

That’s the idea. If Boston loses to Indiana it will be worse than last year. Heads would have to roll..

I don't know why Cs fans are so excited they are facing the Pacers when the Pacers fared well against the Celtics this season compared to the Knicks. The Pacers are more dangerous and Hali actually plays well against the Celtics. I hope the Celtics aren't as too overconfident as their fans and take this Pacers team for granted.

Not an unreasonable concern. We know they coast. Indiana doesn’t play great defense, but they do press a lot and make energy plays which I don’t think we always respond well to.

This is what I'm talking about. I really hope the Celtics don't have the same mindset.

The way they’ve talked all year under Mazzulla, they don’t talk anything like the fans. You almost think they think they’re going to lose to anybody they face.

I trust the Cs to come out with the right mindset. In game 1, and then again in game 3, after dropping game 2 at home.

But seriously, I think the thing is: tell us before the season or before the playoffs that the Celtics have to beat the 6-seeded, 47-win Pacers in the ECF, and we **** TAKE THAT with a smile. I know the Pacers are competitive, and can and have beaten the Celtics. But still: take it and cash it in and don't look back.

I've once again got Celtics in 6. The Cs will face their first intact/healthy opponent and it should be a good tune-up for the Finals IF they beat them. And if they don't beat them, they don't deserve to be champions. Full stop.

I feel bad for the players. I have no sympathy for Thibs who keep running said players to the ground. I especially do not have sympathy for Knicks fans who wanted the Celtics and can now watch them from the couches in their basement.

There's only 2 Ways to get the Finals.

1. Beat Everybody.

2. Buy Tickets.

During his career, Nesmith's teams have played three games 7 and won all three while his shooting splits are 100/100/100.

Was thinking about this the other day - Raps ended up moving #8 and Siakam for #19 and some other random pick and Poeltl.

Defense clinic early. Or bad offense clinic. One of the two
