He's gotta stop being scared and go to the **** basket (and finish when he gets there). 3 FTs in his last two games combined. Ant had 8 tonight, and that's with taking 14 threes

What some of you guys are not seeing is Thibs made an adjustment in defending the Cs PnR.

White and Tat are getting pushed further away when they both get a screen from the top of the key.

That was not the case in the regular season when the Cs swept NY.

By not having success with the PnR, the timing is off and JT is forced to pass or has to shoot a contested shot.

JT has not yet figured out Thibs' defensive scheme in this series.

Hopefully in Game 4, JT figures it out.

This is not only on JT, but on the coaching too

When KAT is in the PnR - JT shot 2 uncontested 3s, as KAT sags off. JT needs to figure out again how to attack KAT and Brunson in isolation. Brunson has this matchup defensively and KAT is limiting his penetration
JB is doing a better job attacking them

What JT needs to do is shoot over the smaller defenders and not try to get the foul.

Just bump then pull up or fade away jumper.

JT is trying so hard to bully the likes of Brunson and he just ends up missing the shot.

If JT figures it out then the Cs will most likely win this series comfortably.

Brunson just plays theatrically and gets the offensive fouls when backed down
When JT feels Brunson put 2 hands on him just go up and shoot. That's an automatic foul

I agree.

No way at 6-2 Brunson would be able to block his shot.

Until JT learns how to do that, I don't think we can say he's reached his ceiling.

Efficiency is the next stage to JT reaching his full potential.

Also true.

He was doing that last season.

This season, he's also looking for the foul.

hopefully our guys are paying attention & come out guns blazing again. OKC is really the only team we couldn't beat this season & they have a legit shot at going down 3-1 right now

I give OKC lots of credit but I always felt that Denver was still gonna be most difficult team to beat for the C’s in a 7 game series. They’re the monkey still on the C’s back imo. I don’t give the regular season record much thought because 7 game series are all about matchups and game plans.

It is extremely difficult to beat Denver 4 times in 7 games. They have the best player, best duo, best triplet. Jokic/Murray/Gordon would incinerate any team in a 3-to-3 game. With the departure of Malone, Jokic started to behave like the coach as well. He keeps telling their coach what to do.

Everyone quick to crap on Tatum should have a look how underwhelming Jokic and SGA have been.

I love Jokic, but he does flop quite a bit. Bro literally pushes somebody and then starts flailing his arms around as if he's being pushed, it's somewhat bizzare. I don't think this should be rewarded.
Good assessment:

PLO wrote:Tatum played OK - took advantage of a few mismatches - decent on the defensive end. He is what we thought he was going into the season - a technically very proficient player operating close to his career ceiling as a rookie.
