Maine Red Claws have 10 games in the Regular Season, after today.
Then we're a Division Leader, for the 1st Round of the D-League Playoffs.

Yabusele should catch the last several games of the Regular Season.

Great! That eliminates them right? Now Yabusele can play up in Maine.

my concern would be making sure his ankle gets some rest. also what is going on up there in maine they havent looked good in the last little while and adding another high end prospect will impact the chemistry on that team.

Yeah. The Balance is Definitely messed up.
We need some more consistency on that team.

Good assessment:

Out - Young, Green, Zeller, Johnson, Jerebko. Olynyk? who am I missing?

In - Zizic, Yabusele, Nader, 1st rd pick, 2nd rd pick (stash?), Jackson

6 rookies is a lot to absorb. I expect we'll have Zizic, BK pick, and either Nader or Yabs on the team. Maybe all 4.

I think you have the right idea but at least one probably two of the players you mentioned stays. Yabs is overssas or in Maine in my opinion. im going to bet that young and olynyk stay.

Yeah I'm only really speculating, not really sure how it goes down. Thinking out loud, how different the roster looks next year.

That's significant turnover.

Also, the suggestion screws up the big/small balance even further. Our collection of bigs will not simply be Horford, Mickey and two previously-stashed rookies.
Banned temporarily for, among other sins, being "Extremely Deviant".

I think that Jerebko stays.
If we're smart, we'll keep Olynyk too.

I think that as many as 11-players stick.
Then you have 2 x Two-Way Contracts.

So 4 Out, and 6 In.

2017-18 Proposed Roster:
Thomas / BRK-17' / Jackson?
Bradley / Smart / Rozier / Rookie = Two-Way Contract
Crowder / Brown / Nader
Horford / Jerebko / Yabusele
Center? / Žižić -- / Olynyk / Mickey? = Two-Way Contract

If you envision Olynyk as your 3rd string center, I think you would be letting him walk.

It depends.
Olynyk, will end up behind Žižić, either way.

I don't see Žižić & Olynyk playing together on the 2nd Unit. But, who knows.
In any event, if KO ends up as the 3rd String Center, then that makes our team all the Deeper.

$10 million+ for a third string center is a lot! Probably better to allocate that money to a starting C if you don't think its Olynyk.

CroSports‏ @CroSports_

Fenerbahce - Darussafaka 79:76 Final

Ante Zizic (30 mins):

12 points (6/6 FG), 9 rebounds (6 offensive) & 1 assist. #Celtics

CroSports‏ @CroSports_ 5m5 minutes ago

Imagine if the Darussafaka guards actually passed the ball to Ante Zizic?

Amazing how little they are able/willing to find him. #Celtics

Zeller's making $8M, this year. Amir's making $12M.
I believe that Olynyk can stick on the team. IDK at what financial cost.

But, you don't just abandon an Extended Core player, solely for Financial reasons.
Especially, when you're in obvious contention. And have so many other things going.

Who would you pick, to fill out the 17-man Roster?
