I’m not sure about that. We are out of sync defensively.

Lol naw, theres no arguing with you. You're relentless even in the face of clear defeat.

I just roll with it now

that's not true, you also saw him call for Danny's head when he traded Fultz for Tatum + a pick

Teams are having a field day shooting against us . That has to change somehow . And we need to value the ball better. We blow way too many fast break opportunities and take way too many Ill advised shots. Just have to be smarter across the board. Pass the ball

That trade doesnt even look all that great these days and to be fair I also said the Irving trade was fantastic.

Regardless, ainge has sucked putting together a championship team and everyone knows it.

Gordon ended with 22 pts, 7 assists and 7 rebounds on 8-20 shooting. Tatum, 10-20 for 25 pts. Smart, 37 on 13 of 25.

This game is on the bench. We got nothing after our top 7. This is an ainge loss.

Getting tired of losing these games. At least jaylen and kemba were entertained, anytime they showed them they were laughing and smiling while their team was losing another home game. I’m sure it’s just my frustration showing, but we are not good enough to sit players whenever they have a boo boo.
I’m not entirely certain that we had a legit nba player outside of kanter come off the bench tonight.

yeah, I don't follow Celtics at all this season, but as soon as I saw the names on your bench I thought Suns got to win this one.

Tatum and a pick for Fultz doesn't seem like a good deal? Are you sure man.

You know ainge isn't doing crap. We are getting stuck with another #15 pick and he's Gunna land more trash like Rozier, the moron rw3, or deadbeat landford.

Whoa whoa whoa...you don’t know what might shake out on the buyout market. I mean come on!! Could find some serious gems!

Ainge's track record says absolutely not. You'll get Greg Monroe and like it. Bravo.

Smart made 4 three pointers in the 4th quarter and came in right after Waters was left in too long and bricked two threes. Those could have been Smart makes had Brad brought him in during an earlier Suns timeout.

We are so desperate for any signs of life on our bench now that we think waters is playing pretty well. I’ve never seen a worse bench on an nba team.

These losses are on Ainge for coming into the season with 5 rookies on the team, and only R. Williams, Semi, Kanter and Wannamaker as our vets. These slow starts are on Stevens. He's the HEAD COACH. It's his job to have them prepared to start a game. No excuses. Now on to the players.

The good:
I applaud Smart for his hustle and grit.
I think Tatum is going to be great, but needs to not try and play hero ball. I understand him doing so though when besides him, Smart, Brown and Walker, who were both out, who else is going to score.
I think Theis needs to shoot more, at least to make the other teams big come out of the paint.
Waters is going to be a really good backup point guard, once he starts making better decisions.
Green needs to get more minutes. His hustle plays are what turned this game around and made it close.

the bad:
Something is wrong with Hayward. I have never seen him miss at the rim so many times. The only thing he does well is pass and shoot free throws.
Kanter's defense is terrible. He players like he has blinders on. He can't see when an opposing player is coming down the lane beside him.

The Ugly:
G. Williams plays decent defense, but everything else about his game is D-League.
Semi needs to be cut or traded. He can't handle the pressure and wilts like a flower.
Wannamaker is slow, afraid to shoot and needs to go.

How bad is Langford's play if, when Brown and Kemba are out, he can't even sniff the court, but G. Williams and Semi and Wannamaker can play a combined 45 minutes ?
How bad is Poirier, our only 7 footers, if he cant get 1 minute of game time over 6'7 G. Williams playing center ?

thanks for letting me rant.

Brad Stevens WILL NOT, under ANY circumstances, bring a player in off the bench, or back in off the bench until his micky mouse watch says it is time. No mater what is going on during the game, Brad will not sub in during the 4th quarter until the 8 minute mark.
He also will not use a time out to stop another teams run.

Ainge continues to be a disaster with roster construction, especially with the draft. I cannot believe people defend him at this point. It's depressing to see so many high quality players he passed in the last several drafts, become all-stars or huge contributors while the guys he drafts do absolutely nothing. 2016 and 2020 were particularly disastrous. So bad that there's really no coming back from it. You can see it any time we have injuries. Our bench has got to be the worst in the entire league.
