If things are really bad between Embiid and Simmons I hope Brad is calling up and offering Brown for Embiid.

Brad wrote:Look you're not getting anything for Simmons. Send Embiid over for Brown and you will still have two allstars and they fit together much better. Plus Brown is younger with less injury risk than Embiid. We'll even toss in a first round pick.

If I'm the sixers I tell Brad to pound sand but it's worth a shot. The longer this drags out the more the odds of Embiid leaving increase.

That's a Fake "Brad" quote, right?

haha yes it's fake

Love this. Hope refs actually call it and we see less foul hunting / Harden ball

The NBA needs to have a mid season tournament with Kyrie Irving playing Andrew Wiggins one on one in a hermetically sealed facility.

Good news to NBA fans.

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/32264912/nba-spells-focus-stopping-players-drawing-manipulated-fouls

Officiating changes in the NBA this season are being made to eliminate instances of players going out of their way to warp the game beyond the way it normally is played, according to Monty McCutchen, who oversees the on-court performance of the league's referees.

"We want basketball to be played, not manipulated," McCutchen, NBA senior vice president, head of referee development and training, said in a Zoom call with reporters Thursday afternoon.

Good riddance!

The way Harden is drawing fouls is really disgusting, if you're the defensive player.

No wonder Team USA players get shocked when they play in FIBA tournaments.

Not just for the defensive player. Watching him play is a chore for fans too.

yeah i wonder how seriously the refs are going to take this. if they honestly do this it's literally a game changer. and it's great news for perimeter defense-orientied teams like us.

As I said in another post, I wouldn't get your hopes up. They will call it once or twice in the preseason, probably against a few rookies, just like palming, a violation that is still on the books but hasn't been called in 25 years. The league wants offense, offense and more offense.

Adam Silver puts two Celtics on his NBA Mt Rushmore.

"Michael Jordan, Bill Russell, Magic Johnson and Larry Bird."

I wish him well. I don’t think that this transaction shocks anyone here. Gotta confess I was hoping that he was going to be our microwave. More like an easy bake oven, though.
