Bla let em walk

There's minimal risk - you're talking $4M for both guys. If for whatever reason either agrees to that deal, you've got yourself a cheap, useful role player. You're not finding a guy like Sully/Zeller at $4M this year.

Jared Sullinger is a pretty interesting case. There are basically 4 factors when evaluating a player: health, character, production and money. For Sully, first two are questionable, though his character thing isn't about being in a team (90% of problematic players have that thing), but himself, his willingness to stay a good player despite health and weight challenges.
His production is even more interesting: he's a plus player in regular season and absolute 0 in the playoff series vs one team. Next to a right player, he could push a poor team into playoffs, but he won't help there. How much do should a team value that? Well, depends which team.
And we have no fecking idea what type of money he could get...

Sullinger is basically the biggest wild card in this free agency: he could get injured because of poor work ethics and be a cap clog or he could be a major steal. His future team will probably the the biggest winner/loser in FA.

I really hope we don't retain Sullinger. It's what I'd get for Danny making me happy and drafting Brown, but still yet. I just don't like watching him play.

It will be tough for the celtics to sign anyone. Thinks alot of the guys that we are targeting will be off the board quick. Specifically Horford. Also mentioned Batum.

Team Boban is recruiting.

21/14 per 36 on 66TS%.

27.7 PER.

9'7 standing reach.

Pay no attention to sample size.

Well Durant, Whiteside, Horford and Howard are our targets, and they may be the four biggest names in Free Agency besides Derozan and Conley.

Not exactly reading the tea leaves to say it's going to be "tough".

But I find it hard to beleive, if Ainge stuck out on the above mentioned names, that it would be "tough" to get a guy like Bazemore or Mahimi if Danny truly wanted to throw around cash.

If he's offering big money to B-level free agents, of course they'll come.

Yup. Running it back is going to be awesome... Maybe the team will win 3 games in the first round instead of 4.

Mannix never broke any news as far as I can go back..nor is he considered an insider, Woj is probably telling him lies.

My thoughts have always been why would Horford jump to a team he already beat in round 1. The Hawks are closer to a title than Boston. Hawks can offer more money. They might be able to sign a C level free agent if they refuse to overpay Turner.

Don't reject the reporter because you don't like what he's saying. He's plugged in and reporting what he's hearing. Sucks for us.

Teague was getting benched for Schroder down the stretch of the playoffs. The players probably don't view this as a major step back.

Just telling it like it is, nothing to do about what he said, even when he says positive stuff they never happen. He is part of yahoo and Wojs group but Woj doesnt let him in on the juicy stuff.
