I just think TT would rather just collect his check and pad his stats. He's already got a ring, and I don't think that guy cares at all about winning

He cares about strip clubs, tho. He’ll be Houston bound

Now we can focus on the all star draft tonight. Which team do we hope Kemba and Tatum end up on?

I’ll hold off on the whole “We have too many picks and can’t have that many” until the actual draft night and see what happens there.

If DA doesn’t consolidate/move up/punt/trade for a player then absolutely will be pissed off.

Until then, I’m happy with Grant coming into his own and Romeo showing signs of good D. That’s the biggest plus, if he can be consistent on D then Brad will play him more.

Got to find out what you have in Romeo Langford. I would have been angry if Ainge traded Langford unless it was for someone like Collins in Atlanta.

Seems like our only chance is TT values things he likely doesn't (coaching, ownership, management, history).

He's terrible, can't score, can't beat guys off the dribble, 100 pct cooked. Go watch his highlights from 2017-2018 because there will never be another IT highlight.

He has a rare second golden opportunity to show the world that he can score/rebound like no other while having zero positive impact on the W/L column.

this offseason
Kanter - will opt out
Semi - will have to be let go
Green - will be gone
brad - will have to go

2 KEY bench members this season gone.

and replaced with

Memphis pick (outside lotto)
Boston pick (20s)
Bucks pick (30)
And a LLE contract.

Bench will be WORSE next season.

Now we're complaining that Semi, Green and Wanamaker might not be back next year? Really?

Wannamaker has been solid. And losing assets for nothing is terrible management.

If team cannot keep them, or are going to cut them then move them

Javonte is under contract next year. Semi has an option. Wanamaker who knows.

Picks who knows.

You all are acting like this was the only time Danny can trade these picks.

Silliness in here.

Yes we all get we cant have 4 rookies next year and we wont. We also wont have exactly the bench we have today next year either.

Things will be just fine. Wouldve been nice to have a stretch 4 hitting 40% from 3 in the playoffs...but here we are.

I also wonder how much player perception of the trade deadline, the anxiety, and the emotion of it is something Danny likes to moderate the best he can.

Signing players in the off season that may not want to be one of those guys that needs to figure out moving mid season, and knowing danny isnt the kind of guy to just move guys with no purpose. May make guys want to choose that team at the end of the day.

nope, Cavs traded 1 second round for him, likely they want him in his contract year (he will try harder and use more of his potential) to rise his trade value and then trade him in the next deadline.

They have been making good use of those assets this season.
