You can never trust this team in a close game. Whether it’s offense or defense they don’t get it done late in big games.

Not even prime phil can do miracles with this group. People in this board need to let that coaching crap go.

Then why Does this team continually collapse in the third quarter? Why does this coach continually allow? Sixteen point leads to evaporate while often not even calling a time out?

I want to hear how you answer that one..

It's pathetic. He gets no calls because of it, but he can't STFU.

I have a hard time rooting for him.

He was never given a chance to really develop in Boston. Also, he's a good dude. Happy for him.

Once again, other teams feed off the weakness they sense in the Celtics. The whole team just reeks of a sense being totally uncomfortable in close games, they are waiting to lose and other teams feed off that. Front running team that needs to be up by 20 in the 4th to win.

Commentators talking up this game all night is cringe as hell

Coming of age moment for the Pacers apparently

Nah, you play Horford against the Bucks and Sixers.

Just gross. You really see the flaws in our offense, when we can't score enough against the 29th worst defense in the league. If Joe can't figure out how to beat that defense, what will we do against better defenses in the playoffs?

There is no flaw. The pacers did a really good job and brought intensity. The Celtics really struggle because Al isn’t what Al used to be. They really have nothing inside. Tatum was good in ISO. We couldn’t guard freaking Aaron Nesmith.

Truly is head scratching the lack of attack against a pathetic defence

How come you didn’t reply to people when they corrected you about on/off? Just curious. You made an incorrect point, got called on it, then ghosted.

Just admit you don’t like the player lol.

This exact problem has existed for our last three head coaches. At some point the fault lies with the guys on the court.

Yup. Got no trust in this squad until they actually do it. Something doesn’t scream championship and it starts with our best players. Like I have low confidence in this team late when things are tight.

Someone like Precious Achuia would be good for this team. Better rim protection than both of those guys and he can defend the perimeter.

We're supposed to be the season/ veteran playoff team that plays with composure in games like this, but instead we get punked by a bunch of less experienced players that have hardly played in the playoffs before. This isn't a fluke and these guys are running out of excuses at this point.

He shot 37% from three as a rookie, then had a bad second year under Ime, then was the main piece in a trade for Brogdon?

I don’t understand how they’re so bad in the third quarter. It’s literally like they just play beer pong at half time or something
