Ah that stinks. But who knows maybe he'll slip to later in the draft.

Egor Demin?
While in Spain, Demin has participated in three youth EuroLeague tournaments, where he established himself as the team’s primary point guard but lost the competition for the unofficial status of team leader to Hugo González, who outmatched him in production and aggressiveness. Demin thrives in situations where everything is going well but hasn’t always been the “guy” during crucial stages, which also appears to be the case in the NCAA. After a round of impressive performances against weaker competition, Demin disappeared when it came to stronger opponents and scored the least points among BYU starters in a blowout loss to Houston, the highest-ranked team they have played.

Shooting a cool .722/.579/1.000 over 4 games in March, just too good for those smaller schools at his age.

I like Nique, being a senior hurts his stock, but helps a qinning team like Boston cause he has lots of experience.
I mean, whats not to like
Great size at 6'6 ~ 200lbs
Can do a bit of everything.
Just realized Tankathon has us taking him at 31 now. Sweet.
Truthfully could be a cheap, yet contribute right away player off the bench.

I love shooters for sure, but how well can he defend? and will he really measure in at 6'6?
Will he be just another same level player as J Walsh and Scheierman who we can barely find time for?
*Also, is he a high floor but low ceiling type? should Boston go for a high Ceiling - low floor type instead?? Just random questions I have.

https://edemirnba.substack.com/p/maxime-raynaud-scouting-reportMaxime Raynaud is a lottery pick. The over-seven-foot senior has a clear role as a short-roll-passing pick-and-pop five with immense defensive versatility. Here's why NBA teams want him so badly:
Saw this last night, just hadn't got to post it yet lol.
On a more serious note I am all for grabbing a lotto talent big man at 28, especially one that fits the team's play style. Curious the defensive part of that write-up behind the pay wall. Also for a guy that is a senior big man that he says is a potential lotto talent, why is his shooting efficiency so low? For a guy like that to have an EFG/TS% of .529/.561 is concerning to me. I get that he is not going to be asked to shoot/score as much in the pros but still.
