I wish people wouldn't talk about him because I was so happy we were about to get him, i just KNEW we were, then sactown said, "NOT TUHDAY!" I almost cried.

If Nesmith played on the Pistons he would play 20+ minutes per game...just be patient...

Saddiq Bey posted a 20/10/3 line last night, in the month of January he's shooting 14-27 from 3

In the end it is about career potential not early gains so I am not trashing Nesmith, but Saddiq Bey along with Pritchard would have been a dream draft for this season. For a guy drafted high mainly for his shooting ability, Bey looks like a tough gritty player and a competitor.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Injuries taking their toll across the NBA. Markelle Fultz out for the year with torn ACL. Killian Hayes and Darius Garland out with injuries as well.

We’ll see what happens, but you have to consider the weird shortened offseason and 72 game schedule as major risk factors for player injuries

My main questions with Bey were athleticism, but it was pretty obvious after watching him for a number of years at Nova that he was a legit NBA player. What's the failure rate on Nova guys at this point? Hart, Bridges, DiVincenzo, Brunson, Bey - all of them have turned into at worst rotation guys. Spellman is really the only one who hasn't stuck. It's pretty obvious to me at least that program gets guys as ready for modern NBA ball as any other in the country.

no question playing for Det gets you more of a chance. BUT S Bey is producing well in the same NBA that Nesmith is in. Point being S Bey didn't have the same training camp that Nesmith didn't have as well. Yet he knows how to play.

All the excuses of why Nesmith is sitting applies to everyone. Yet PP, Hali and S Bey have been excelling. So either CBS is way over-doing the Nesmith isn't ready or Danny+CBS f*cked up another mid-lottery pick.

BPA. You could always get a lot back for one if Hali hits and they can't work together.

Or he's 20 and really bad defensively now, but eventually he will be fine there.

Man, I just saw that Markelle Fultz tore his ACL and is out for the year. I feel bad for the guy -- it seemed like he was finally starting to put it all together.

Man, Raptors need to start winning some games. no reason to get them a top 5 pick.

How pleased are you knowing that Kyrie isn't a Celtic?
On nights like this, I always give it a 10/10.

Pretty obvious he’s boycotting the game due to what’s happened the past 2 days.

Nets beat the Sixers easily anyway. No KD, no Kyrie, no problem. A look at the box score suggest the difference was largely about offensive rebounds and steals.
