Someone like Precious Achuia would be good for this team. Better rim protection than both of those guys and he can defend the perimeter.

We might have that already his name is Queta..

Bit of a replay of last year when 2-4 guys would play a ton of minutes and barely score. PP has got to hit a few shots, they had 46 minutes of Al/PP/Banton scoring 2 points then Jrue on top of that.

Can kind of go back to the Js creating shots for others but at the same time these guys don’t make it easy with their tiny scoring radii or whatever.

And that's the issue with this Team's offense. They are too reliant on an offense centered around the 3-ball, and they don't have a plan B when their 3s are not falling. I don't know what to say.

Then why Does this team continually collapse in the third quarter? Why does this coach continually allow? Sixteen point leads to evaporate while often not even calling a time out?

I want to hear how you answer that one..

This exact problem has existed for our last three head coaches. At some point the fault lies with the guys on the court.

They shipped out most all the players from those old coaches. The Jays are the 2 consistent parts. JT's unwillingness to wear the mantle of leadership really shows up in these tight games, the team is directionless on the court in a way a LeBron or Kobe team never would be. Combine that with JBs love of trying to out dribble 3 people and turning it over, and imo thats why this team sucks down the stretch.

Also, I love Jrue and what he brings on defense, but he is just horrid offensively. Seems like all of his shots are rushed, especially his drives to the basket. Doesn't have a sense of control in them.

Happy for Nesmith. He never had a consistent role here and it’s nice to see a team actually trying to develop a good young talented player. He was always a better prospect than Pritchard, but there was a price to pay to get Brogdon.

26/10/13 assists ZERO turnovers and numerous big shots in the 2nd half. Just an incredible effort by a future All-NBA guy in Haliburton. What makes Indy such a burgeoning threat is that they don't beat themselves on offense with turnovers because Haliburton just won't let them.

If a game really matters, Joe will make sure that we lose. Fire this clown. Bring a proper coach. Even Doc Rivers will do. Yes, I am that desperate.

White basically in the Marcus Smart role. He will get blamed for doing much of the heavylifting for the "others." No one else was doing anything outside of Hauser hitting bombs.

I think it's just that he's a PnR guard who has ALWAYS played best next to a dynamic big (AD, Giannis). With no KD, I think his game is somewhat diminished at that end.

How come you didn’t reply to people when they corrected you about on/off? Just curious. You made an incorrect point, got called on it, then ghosted.

Just admit you don’t like the player lol.

The only point I made about on/off is in regards to sample size. There is nothing to debate. Statistically it is a fact.

Yeah that’s exactly it. Someone else needs to bring something and they can only bring what they’ve got.

All in all tough to win in today’s game with that three point % disparity. Tough to even keep it close.

KP over Banton makes a big difference here and that sort of understates it. I think this team does need an 8th or 9th man though for nights like this.

Tough loss. Usual suspects: joe not calling a time out, coming out soft in the 3rd, going away from what had been working, tatum taking bad shots and complaining to the refs, poor bench production and failing to make Holiday a bigger part of our offense. Why dont we post him up more? Why don’t we ever try and foul their guys out? Another game where the 3 wasnt falling. At least in the first hslf we attacked the rim. Credit to indiana. They played harder and took it to us. We played on the petimeter most of the second half
"Now, there's a steal by Bird..!"

This is normal statistical noise. That is all I was saying.

-17 with Tatum on
