It’s gonna be more per year than we are comfortable with, and that’s gonna be on purpose as he becomes trade bait

I bet it's something like 4/40, but a tiny part of me hopes it's 4/48 so half the board melts down.

Hope we don't overpay him. His market value is not very high at all.

I bet it will be 4 years/$50 million. Marcus probably wants a quick deal so he can focus on being with his mother. I'm pretty sure he doesn't want to leave her side just to take meetings with other teams.

I think the team will likely hold onto him and do a S&T involving Rozier next year. Hopefully for AD, maybe KAT.

Hope they don’t overpay for smart. I want him back but not at a ridiculous price.

As I've said, Marcus Smart is the 3rd or 4th option for the few teams with cap space.

Pacers are gonna be good this season. They are a team to look out for. If they can add Evans, that’s a great move for them.

Evans would be a great addition for Indiana, as well as a bunch of other teams. Only issue is that he is a guy who needs to have the ball in his hands so might not be as good a fit in Philadelphia with Ben Simmons.

Agreed 100 percent.

Everyone keeps talking about Philadelphia, but I actually think Indiana is the second-best team in the East. They even gave us a bit of trouble last year.

I wonder if after we sign Smart we become more aggressive in trade talks because we know what our salary would be.
