Brad is the one I am unsure about. He might do well with the little underdog team again. But lets be real, this is a slap in the face. We were supposed to win a title or two.

Hearing we won't get a big FA too if Kyrie leaves.

That’s because you and so many others had unrealistic expectations.

The talk of title contending was **** laughable. At best I saw us maybe making a finals appearance back in November.

Our talent level simply wasn’t good enough to be a title contender. When Kyrie is your best player you’re not winning a title.

I don’t think Brad has been as good as other years but far out some of you guys quickly forget. This isn’t on Brad.

I mean Raps and Bucks both made major moves to load up on talent, which we couldn't do because Ainge had eyes on a way bigger prize in AD.
If we'd have made mid-season acquisitions (even Kanter would have helped a lot) and obviously if Hayward would have made a full recovery to his Utah version by playoffs and the chemistry was fine, we would have been (fringe) contenders.
Obviously that didn't happen, but the talk about contending at that time wasn't as laughable as you make it seem imo

That's just LeBron making us our bitches even more.

LeBron's side kicks comes to Boston. Destroys the Celtics. Ruins out future plans and destroyed Danny's 5 year plan to acquire AD then returns to LeBron's side.

We can talk up or front office all we want, but if this happens, this team is at Lebron's mercy lol

The Lakers didn't even make the playoffs. I'm not overly worried about Kyrie going there to pair with an aging LeBron, if that were to happen.

And before anyone comes at me with the "Lakers are in the west" nonsense, just remember, that's not changing so it's still going to be an uphill battle for that team as its currently constructed.

I don't think Kryie ever did bleed green. I think he just added a bit of green food coloring to his blood.

He did try for a small consolidation trade with one guy. FYI he tried for this guy last year too. If you want a hint, think beloved sixth man, arguably best in the NBA. He was refused for this guy pretty quickly though.

Outside of that, was saving assets for AD

Yep we know it's Lou Williams he wanted to get. And we were turned down.

But, this saving it all for AD is getting embarrassing. The dude who is Lebron's bitch who doesn't even dress himself.

Danny my goodness grab a F'ing clue man. Kyrie already played you like a violin, wake up.

Smart, today:
http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/26709567/smart-blaming-kyrie-celtics-fall-bs
""Bulls---. That's bulls---," Smart said when asked Thursday if Irving's leadership skills were behind the Celtics' lack of chemistry. "Not one of us on this team knows what Kyrie has been through. Probably a few amount of people in this world know what Kyrie goes through. It was hard for him as well.

"He was forced into a situation where it was business over the friendships. He had to come into a situation knowing this is a group of guys that had something going before [he came] here. 'How will I fit in?' He didn't want to disrupt that. That says a lot. This is Kyrie Irving we're talking about it, and he's worried about coming in and disrupting us. We took him in with full arms. We tried to understand. But like I said, we never really understood because we're not in his shoes. That's just a bulls--- statement to say his leadership skills killed us."

Red quote: when I think of people who have been through stuff, I think of guys like Marcus -- not Kyrie. Unless we're talking more serious depression than any of us know. Otherwise..? I'm at a loss. Any guesses?

Blue quote: certainly doesn't sound like he's talking about a current/future teammate.

I can't believe some people think Brown is the cancer. Brown didn't transparently give up on the team. Kyrie is absolute trash. He's about to become the most hated former Celtic ever.

Maybe it was just Smart speaking all emotional?

Your guess is as good as mine. I thought Kyrie was pretty pro Smart this season though.

He’s a talented player so I hate just to lose him but that’s just strictly for asset purposes.

I think Brown did rub people the wrong way from the start and he tried to plump himself as a greater intellect than his teammates, etc. And he reportedly is something of a loner. But he seems to have learned year by year and he ended up being one of the most consistent guys delivering when it mattered in a terrible season.

So I'm not worried about Brown any more. He knows how to tend to his business on the court and that's what matters for the team.

Rozier has just gone crazy over the past 24 hours. I don't want his attitude anywhere near the team next year. But he has only played behind the grotesque egos of IT and Kyrie--and he apparently learned too much from them. Too bad.

I’m surprised the Hayward bobble head slid under the radar from scrutiny

I assure you that Kyrie wasn't the only ego in that room. Just drew the most focus being the best player. Rozier calls himself a top PG as recent as last night. Top players don't get under 10 **** points in a series. He can pack too
