Repeat..I love Hauser's potential... but will need more seasoning..won't be ready by playoffs..my vote is for a legit Big wing..but understand the need for Big for Insurance..

What's his main issue there, is that something that's out there? I mean, besides the whole Toronto, Canada thing.

The only issue I can think of is he wants a bigger role.

My gut feeling says we will end up with Poeltl..

And then address our wing position via buy out or not at all..

Raptors have underachieved quite a bit 2 of the last 3 years - especially this season when pretty much everyone picked them to finish top 8 in the east and they're not even close to a top 8 seed.

And apparently there's some major chemistry/locker room issues with the team. I saw a recent video where Thaddeus Young was literally about to get into a fist fight with Scottie Barnes right in the middle of the court when the team was warming up before a game lol.

If Boston does not get Poeltl, I could see them doing these 2 trades:

1) Jackson and 2nd round pick to NO
for
Hernangomez

2) 2nd round pick to NY for
Reddish

Reddish is an upgrade on Jackson and can be taken in the Schroder TPE. We can go over the TPE amount by 100,000.00 which is just enough to complete the deal. (TPE is for 5,890,000.00, Reddish is signed for 5,954,454.00) With the additional 100K, it's good by 35,546.00. Hernangomez takes the open roster spot.

Not a fan of Reddish but Brad likes his reclamation projects, and Reddish has the tools to do it, just not so sure about the BBIQ.

Not saying Anunoby to Boston will happen, but the trade is possible.

Celtics get Anunoby

Raptors get Blake, Kornet, Jackson, PP, Gallo, and picks

2nd and Jackson for Gafford.
2nd and Madar for McDaniels. Fits into a TPE.

Get wing shooter from the buyout if there's someone intriguing available.

Low cost, medium reward. Won't give up a first for rentals. Give up PP if Hornets demand more.

5 for 1 is a not going to happen. Raps would have to gut their team of 4 more contracts just to take in the players from us.

I like Gafford but I doubt the Celtics will want to take on his 40m contract extension that kicks in next season.

+ 100% but we would never get those players for that. We would get outbid easily. But I would love to see that happen, but that extension is a tough pill to take. Would cost us Grant.

Yeah, that's why I said it's possible but most likely not happening.

Just pointing out that if the Cs really want Anunoby it can be done.

Fierce pointed out the extension, which I didn't know about. Out on Gafford.

That's the most I'd offer for McDaniels. Even two 2nds and PP seem excessive for a 9th man who may not even play in the postseason.

If we were getting Poeltl I would consider doing Timelord plus a little filler for OG.

Smart/Brogdon
Brown/White
OG/Grant W
Tatum/Precious
Poeltl/Horford/

Brad's decision process goes...
"Let's check the Celtics RGM trade thread. Whoever they're NOT talking about, that's who we will get!"

My guess would be 50/50. Unless a contender has bad salary they want to move out, I don't see many teams wanting to take $9M on. Too many contenders don't have much money to spend. Maaaybe LAC gets a little crazy but they seem like they have other holes to fill first.

I'd take gafford even with the extension if the trade is cheap. But my guess is prob Plumlee as a buyout or the Hernangomez option is interesting to me too. I think he's a good fit for what they need.
