Brad won't want anything to do with Siakam because he can't shoot.

Taking a look at the "big wings" who Brad Stevens said he might want to shore up at the trade deadline and the fit into the G Williams TPE.

Kenrich Williams
Moses Moody
Jalen McDaniels
Jonathan Kuminga
Jalen Smith (PF/C not really a big wing)
Dean Wade
Corey Kispert
Taurean Prince
Saddiq Bey
Zaire Williams
Jeremy Sochan
Torrey Craig
Simone Fontecchio
Amir Coffey
Naji Marshall

If I was going to bet, I would bet the Celtics don't get any of those players. Could be a real quiet trade deadline for the Celtics.

Let's not trade for any of these guys. Sorry Konchar and Tillman..

PG: Jrue/Pritchard/Banton
SG: White/Moody/Svi
SF: Brown/Hauser/Stevens
PF: Tatum/Brissett/.....
C: KP/Horford/Kornet

Moody is sticking to the top of my list too. The thing is, it's unlikely but not really outlandish that the Celtics can land him. Depends if Brad thinks he's worth it, as GS will have multiple suitors if the start to dismantle the current roster.

The Celtics could keep basically the same guys if they use the TPE.

For that last spot, maybe Blake has been working out and draining threes during the past few months and would come back at a friendly discount for a chance to get a ring.

Jrue is 33 and hasn't been great. Siakam is 28 so aligns with the timeline of Brown and Tatum and is a secondary playmaker.

With White breaking out also in the same age range we have at least a 5 year window of.

White
Brown
Tatum
Siakam
KP

In free agency target a big that can switch everything in case we need to abandon drop coverage for KP if he gets abused like we've done to Embiid for his entire career.

Siakam and KP struggle rebounding for their size, but with Tatum at the 3 and White at the 1 well they're exceptional. So that evens out.

Hell no.

Siakam is a super slow processor who can’t shoot. He’s butted heads with his coach multiple times, been suspended by the team multiple times. He’s not a very good defensive player at this point, and his lack of bag is a huge issue in the playoffs, especially since we can’t depend on him to hit shots.

Holiday has been awesome this year, they just don’t ask him to do much offensively.

Never really been high on Siakam. Toronto should take that reported offer from Indiana.

Most Toronto fans are super delusional. They think they ought to get much more than the reported offers for a 30-year-old on an expiring contract. Utter delusion.

I like Siakam a lot, but only for certain teams. We are not one of those teams.

Jeremy Sochan can't shoot but he does everything else and might be available. And you know he's been well coached.

Jeremy Schohan can’t even figure out how to pass the ball to a 7’3” basketball prodigy.

Holiday is the much better fit here. Much better without the basketball than Spicy P.

Tatum 10-0 vs Siakam in last 10. They're seeing each other again this month.

I wouldn't bet against you on this. Probably will be something entirely different or maybe stand pat. Wyc gave the go ahead to spend, so if Brad does nothing and the team runs out of gas by the finals, well....

I like Moody a lot from that list, and Kuminga, no surprises there. Bey or Fontecchio would be OK. Kispert and Marshall maybe. The rest I don't really know much about.

Sochan is available? I thought Osman was our Spurs guy. He'd be a nice pickup.

3 firsts for expiring Siakam and the Raps can probably flip Bruce Brown to a contender for another first. Good haul for them.

Siakam fits the Pacers very well though imo.

Wow, if they keep Hield, Mathurin, Turner, and Nesmith in that trade, that gives Haliburton a lot of targets. They are already a good team, having a big like Siakim would move them up. Certainly should want to re-sign.
