For a team poised to compete for a title with an injury-prone big and a 37-year-old big, and likely to encounter multiple of Jokic, Giannis, Bam, Embiid, the Cavs, and Knicks in the playoffs, a young defensive big seems like a great investment.

Since the player excels on defense, and offensive traits like screening and passing, I understand that many fans will ignore his strengths because BENCH PPG seems so much more exciting.

wayyy too early for that. trades tend to get finalized at the last few minutes! If not a trade, the buyout list will be legit. This team doesn't need fireworks....Now if we can trade for mental toughness and drop Joey, I'm all for it!!!

Well, they're also getting the best player in this trade. They get PJ to play the 4..they already got Gafford to play the 5.

Upgrade from Grant to PJ and upgrade from Holmes to Gafford.

OPJ and Harris look like realistic vet min candidates if we don't do much else today.

Celtics can't sign Harris. Made too much and with being a second apron team can only sign buyout players making less than the MLE.

Also, Brad's extremely limited as to what he can do within the constraints of the CBA. It's like some posters have no idea how things work (but don't miss a chance to piss on our food).
