Yep and because NBA refs suck.

So just thinking about the roster for next season if this is likely to occur.

New contracted players for 2017 (likely, possibly, maybe):

Brooklyn pick
Yabs
Zizic
Nader

Contracted:

Thomas
Bradley
Smart
Horford
Crowder
Brown
Rozier
Jackson
Mickey (team option)

That's 13 players.

Free agents likely, possibly, maybe to return:

Olynyk
Amir (?)

Free agents not likely to return:

Zeller
Young
Jerebko (?)
Green

So some decisions are going to need to be made if free agents from other teams are to be targeted. Without a big trade I could see Jackson, Mickey and Rozier all being on different rosters next season potentially, but Ainge might need to waive them if there is no one who wants them in a trade.

Jackson & Mickey can be waived, and then signed to Two-Way Contracts.
Rozier too, but his whole Contract amount is Guaranteed for next year.

2017-18 Proposed Roster:
Thomas / BRK-17' / Rozier // Jackson? = Two-Way Contract
Bradley / Smart - / Rookie
Crowder / Brown / Nader
Horford / Jerebko / Yabusele
Center?? / Žižić -- / Olynyk // Mickey? = Two-Way Contract

Read on Twitter

Next Game is Friday, March 17, 2017, at 7PM.
This will be the first Red Claws game that Guerschon Yabusele can play in.

Gives him a little more time to heal, if that ankle is bothering him at all.

It's nice that Zizic can score w/o ever bringing the ball down. Perk, for example, never mastered that.

McHale of course excelled at that, but it was also a major point of emphasis by his high school coach.

True. We could have gotten him. We had 8 picks altogether, and Traded away #31 & #35.
We could have picked Zubac at #31. We would have had to Stash him, though.

Zubac didn't want to be stashed right? That's why he was picked in the 2nd round, despite his 1st round talent level.

I believe they can play regardless of whether they sign their rookie contracts or not. Meaning, they could still be stashed even if they play summer league.

I'd imagine 1-2 of those three get signed however.

Looks like you're talking about just Summer League, Bows?

Pinkney and I are referring more so, to the regular season. = Keeping them on the Roster, for 2017-18.

Right, summer league. I'm simply saying it's not automatic they sign a contract for a roster spot once they commit to summer league. Iirc there have been numerous stashes who play summer league but go back to Europe or wherever.

Yeah, sure. A lot of Players are just "Invited" to Summer League, and never even get a Training Camp Invite. Let alone signed.

Edit:
I think that Žižić will be signed to the Regular Season Roster right out, on July 1st, 2017.
I think that Nader gets at least the Summer Camp Invite, and then Celtics will go from there.
Yabusele, will be somewhere in between those two extremes.

Brown, Brooklyn 2017; probably Rozier & Jackson; and possibly Mickey, also play for the Celtics Summer League.
