Is this guy really the new Jeff Green?

I can see a lot of reasons not to, but we don't have to root against the Kings and they're a young and upcoming team after 10 years in the lottery. I'd really like to learn some POSITIVES to this deal for them.

I want to support them and not feel like this is a disastrous signing.

No idea how that guy keeps getting paychecks. But I think hes a decent Jaylen Brown comp so I'm expecting Brown to get a 3 to 4 year deal at 20-25aav next offseason

Idk what the rockets are doing. They really blew their chance last season.

Honestly they've blown their chances twice.

They took a tired GSW that didn't want to put the effort into game 7.

Then they had a 2 game series with a KD less Warriors who had a spark but you have to beat them hurt. And to think they had the nothing Raptors in the Finals waiting for them that they would have easily beaten. Hell the Warriors took that team to game 6 with only 2 players available I think by the end of it.

And they blew it twice.

At this point I'm not sure what they can do. It seems like CP3, Harden, Gordon, Capela just isn't enough.

The only x factor someone can get that would compliment a team and put them or others over the top is legendary shooters like a Curry or a KD. So they're going after Butler which is good but like... eh. idk.

I think they've missed their window.

Clippers are going to end up with nobody lol. Kawhi isn't going there without another star level player (my opinion). Butler just wants to party in Miami. No interest in Horford that we've heard so far. The KD/Kawhi pairing may be their last chance, but I can't imagine Kawhi pairing up with a guy who isn't playing at all next year.

Miami really? I wanna see the money. That’s a head scratcher. The clippers have a better roster than the heat right now. They could have paid him 30 million along with leonard. I don’t get it.

I don’t know about that. They can get another player to go with leonard. The clippers roster has pieces. I will be pissed if he decides to play for the lakers. Guy doesn’t need lebroni. He can carry a team like the clippers on his back.

Durant expected to make his decision tonight. They’re saying Brooklyn right now which would be a shocker.

Did the warriors offer him the max?

Nets have injured Durant, old D Jordan and one of those former Celtics small guards.

Knicks, they have memories of Oak and Starks.

JJ Reddick to NOP
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

After those iffy Bucks/Raptors finals ratings, the league office is presumably pleased with supposed super-teams forming in LA and NYC--though with a syncopated beat in NY.

We are of course only 20 minutes into FA.

"15 minutes into free agency"... hahah yeah Ira Toyota? You think that this came together in 15 minutes?

That said, I guess the ideal situation now for players is.

Kawhia and Dlo goto Clips

Butler to Heat

Maybe Horford to Lakers.

Harris can resign in Philly if need be.

Hopefully a young bad team gives Brogdon the full max and he goes there. Same with Randle.

WOAH.

Lamb and Brogdon to Pacers?

Those are actually 2 really good players.

Pacers going to be Trailblazer esque? Maybe even better?

Let's not be too hard on the Knicks. They are still in the Brad Wanamaker sweepstakes.

Amazed that Pacers got Brogdon for only 21 million a year--and this for 4 years. I'm jealous. Watch out for Indy.
