Love him as a player. Seriously what a gifted guy. What he does in a good night is the thing of dreams. I don't think anyone can take that from him.

Had trouble justifying his thought process most of the times. Now he gon, I can actually state that 90% of what he said throughout these 2 years annoyed the duck out of me.

I am not a pseudo intellectual or anything but ffs wtf is wrong with him. I mean most of the people in this forum have picked up on this - education has nothing to do with it. I've met people with 0 education that have been intellectually gifted in ways kyrie can't even fathom.

Also that flat earth thing ain't funny. I find that insulting in ways you can't put on paper. Guys like kyrie unfortunately generate trends. He is one step from converting to Chinese new age medicine and cause other bigger issues.

Kyrie this from me : all your talents relate to gettibg the ball to the basket. At that few can really have a claim at doing it better.

I would have traded Kyrie during last summer after he didn’t show up to support his team in a home game for the game 7 of the ECF. That told me all I needed to know about his character.

I am one of the biggest Kyrie ‘haters’ but I don’t think he was lying. Even that article says they would had considered coming here if things didn’t become bad in Boston. KD had us number 2 in 2016. We got his best friend. Dude is putting commercials out there saying he wants his number in the rafters. I do think the plan was for KD to come here actually, but things imploded. Once things got rough, it probably made it very easy to change his mind.

Yeah but it never happened. Wonder why it didn't happen? Danny was focused on AD but Kyrie and KD had made a little pact the whole time. Seems odd.

The plan was to pitch KD if he chose not to return to Golden State after 2018. KD was a free agent last summer. However, he chose to come back and chase the 3peat.

It didn't happen because Kyrie slowly started to hate Boston throughout 18-19. I don't think we will ever know why or how. Whether it was 1 thing or a bunch of things. I don't think Ainge was singularly focused on AD. I think the plan in 2018 was to pitch KD and trade for AD. Kyrie/KD/AD was the plan.

Makes you wonder what the hell went on this season that Ainge and Stevens weren't able to resolve it. Ainge is old school a bit, and I don't think he understands how important it is for a locker room to be together with the modern player. I think if he could do it all over again, he would trade Rozier and maybe even Brown in summer 2018 to avoid chemistry issues.
