You’re missing the point. I don’t know where luck lives on your google sheets but at some point it’s not luck. It’s the players not closing out or they’re missing rotations which is indeed a coaching problem.

I was responding to the poster who said something about the pacers making "ridiculous shots" which implies they were lucky shots. The type of shots we *want* them taking..which is good coaching.

But even if what you say is true and we had a *player* who was slow to close out on a shooter, it seems a bit misguided to put all of the blame for that on the coach and none on the player who was slow to close out on the shooter.
