Walsh is the least of the Celtics' problems.
Queta looks like he still doesn't get it.
Baylor is just not strong enough.
Joe told him to be strong with the ball.
Bad news, Joe, Baylor is just not strong enough.
Same with the other guys that finished the game.
Amari Williams is nothing special.
Same with Shulga.
Bridges and Kendall Brown do not belong with the Cs.
Hopefully Cs cut some of them next week when the Cs need to trim down the roster.

But, at this time, he's too much behind. I think that we Waive him before his Guarantee Date, Opening Night.
He's an NBA player but not a starter and not a rotation player (at least on a contending team). He's an end of bench 11-14 roster spot guy - you need those but they are pretty interchangeable. Problem is he doesn't really have an elite skill
He's only 21 years old and has only played 2 NBA seasons..and wasn't able to play much during those 2 seasons because he was on a team that had tons of depth and talent..it was championship or bust in both of his 2 seasons.
So I don't think we have enough data to tell us definitively what he is or what he isn't.
This is a crucial year for him, though. But I figure let's just wait and see how it goes. I think he'll be here the whole season but if he's bad this year than it will probably be his last in Boston..
Scheierman is 25. He should get the gist of things, by now.

I wouldn’t expect any of the 14 Rostered Celtics to be waived this year. Maybe next year as Walsh, Scheierman, Garza, Minott are all team options or NOn guaranteed. If one of those dudes isn’t looking like an NBA player then could happen.

Walsh could get Waived before Opening Day, according to his Contract.

Yeah I believe that’s correct. I’m just saying I don’t expect that.

Yeah. Who on the current roster is beating them out?
On the other hand, maybe somebody gets cut from another roster the Celtics pick up, as is much more common in the NFL.

Russell Westbrook or Elfrid Payton for the minimum. Waive and stretch Simons to get under the tax. Start talking to Minott's agent about an extension. Minott is a good player and may be less expensive now than at the end of the year.

We really only have two guys who can play PG. If either of White or PP are out for whatever reason, we have only one (and they can't play the entire game.) We know what things look like without a PG. Not a bad idea to have a third PG on the roster. I would not be upset with replacing Walsh with one, however that would happen.
