I can't wait to see him guard Embiid. Don't know how it'll go, but it'll sure be interesting. I think he's got the physical tools to be a real problem for Embiid.

Embiid stopper is a priority to us. He doesn't have to be anywhere near Embiid's offensive skill to achieve that. Baynes did an ok job slowing him. I theorize that Embiid looks a little better than he is since real centers are near extinct. Put him in the 80s against parish, Ewing, moses, akeem, Kareem, even Mark Eaton he'd still be good but seem more mortal.

His physical profile has to be top 10% of the NBA. Think about that for a second. No idea if he will tap that potential, but we are due for a "hit" on a later pick.

This young man could be the missing piece, that 9'4" standing reach, 35+ vertical, with the ability to switch onto smalls. Those guys are diamond mines waiting to be mined.

Wow.

He's your guys Deandre Jordan, Capela, McGee, Larry Sanders, Damion Jones and so on. Guys with all the physical tools but just super raw and not sure if they had it mentally. Will he be the next DJ/Capela or is he going to be the next McGee/Sanders, we will see. But to me he was definitely worth the gamble late in the 1st round. His physical attributes and timing defensively is insane. Lets see if he can put it all together and focus on the game.

Is Embiid going to be playing in the G-league next year?

I think Robert Williams plays in the NBA, and with the celtics this season. He provides a skillset that the celtics are missing which is shot blocking, rebounding, and good to elite defense.

Explain to us again why Bender is by far the best prospect of 2016 and how Danny would be an idiot/coward for not drafting him.

He is not lazy. He just made a few mistakes by missing the press conference call because of the time zone difference, and missing the Team flight because he midplaced his wallet. Hopefully he learns from all of this, and changes. He had no choice but Maturity takes time. If he doesn't learn from his mistakes, then he wouldn't be on the team. Too early to give up on him. I am not going to do that. I hope he makes it.

Lol players drop in the draft for many reasons.. That doesnt mean they wont pan out.. Lets not judge this kids work ethic over the start of his professional career and summer league...

I don't care about the Williams argument but I do want to know if you've ever seen the movie? He already had heart.

Robert Williams is going to be a better fit for this team than Robinson would have been. We haven’t really seen him play. Robert’s ability to switch on the perimeter will be huge for the C’s.

Robinson has some great potential and athleticism too, but I’m not sure he’ll have that lateral movement like Williams.

I am on a savage blocking spree. I don't know where it will end.
