On a positive side for the Knicks they have some good young prospects now. A starting 5 of Smith Jr, Barrett, Knox, Randle & Robinson is something to look forward to for them.

I'm sure Knicks fans will be thrilled watching the other Atlantic teams fight for 1st seed while they try to tank again

They don’t even have to try to tank!

I feel bad for Knicks fans. But after how miserable we felt this season seeing our progress set back a little schadenfreude feels good.

Still shocked about JJ Reddick. That is a vote of confidence in their young talent.

Butler to Miami - sign and trade to Miami. Get ready for Kawhi to Lakers.

Pacers:

Out - Bogdanovich, Young, Collison
In - Lamb, Warren, Brogdon

Oladipo won't be back until December or January. I don't see them being as a high a seed this season.

Kinda shocked Jerry West is striking out. I really Hope Kawhi doesn’t go to the Lakers. If he goes back to Toronto it will be an interesting season.

Kawhi going to the Clippers or Raptors will keep this year completely unpredictable. That would be nice going into a season where free agency and trade rumors won’t dominate the conversation and you could make a case for multiple teams from each conference to be playing in the Finals.

I still see the Celtics as a tier above the Pacers. The East hierarchy probably goes:

-Tier 1
Philly
Milwaukee
Toronto (if Kawhi stays)

-Tier 2
Boston
Brooklyn (for 2019-20)

-Tier 3
Miami
Indiana

-Tier 4
Orlando
Detroit
Chicago
Atlanta

-Tier 5
Cleveland
New York
Charlotte
Washington

Let's get the right big and move to tier 1!

I feel bad for the knicks  They were cocky last season and was so sure they get KD and Kyrie. One of their posters even said ‘can’t wait for this upcoming season to be over’ is too damn funny!

Golden State and Brooklyn have agreed on a sign-and-trade, sending D’Angelo Russell to the Warriors on a four-year, $117M maximum contract, league sources tell ESPN.

So does Klay Thompson move to SF? Or does Russell become the highest paid 6th man when Klay returns?

When Klay comes back, he's a big upgrade over Quinn Cook.

Why is Scal so mad? Shouldn’t he be happy about this?

Damn, what a night - a lot of unexpected transactions - almost like speculating about the whole range of potential trade and free agency scenarios is the smart thing to do..

Kings and Pacers have done really well.. Knicks a bigger joke than ever. They had to know they could miss out on big free agents, the fallback was at least adding some flexibility.. but now they’re giving 2-3 year deals to Randle, Portis, Taj Gibson, Reggie Bullock? What’s the point?
