He had basically an identical season last year too, though. He’s just a legitimately good offensive player, defense is another matter though.

Fournier is a good nba player. He's never had 2 legit stars around him either

Who runs PG for us?
I wish he wasn’t so old and paid too much but Rubio would be ideal.

I'd rather have Dieng. Said that multiple times but I actually think he's better than Aldridge and Drummond as a role player

To be fair, the Heat expected to sign LMA and didnt, so surprises happen. But i’d bet hes a Laker and riding the deep bench come playoff time.

Terry Rozier says hello. Might actually include "MR pay him max" but make a "role player" out of GH as well.
Terry already showed starter potential when Kyrie went down in 2019. Even quarterbacked the ECF team and hit big shots for us during that season. What he struggled with was being a bench player. Danny just decided to go a different route and let him go.
Gordo was fringe All-NBA before he got injured. But Stevens did underuse/misuse him even once he was healthy in favor of the Jays' development.
Also, Baynes had one good season after the Celtics, while Crowder bounced back after an initial plummet. And to my knowledge Marcus Morris Sr. was pretty much the same player post-Celtics as with them, and so was Kelly Olynyk. Or was Olynyk -- part T-Rex and part escargot -- more useful on defense with us than with the Heat?
And then there's Abdel Nader.
Banned temporarily for, among other sins, being "Extremely Deviant".

Teague for vet min?
Jk. Smart, Pritchard and MLE or vet min. Fournier and Jays can initiate from time to time

Danny has to be fighting between the urge to make it a bit further this year, or just go all in developing Rob.
Edit: In his mind. I think the Rob path makes this team better by playoff time. I just don’t know if he can stay healthy.

He picks his team the way he plays...not really a team player...just looking out for himself. Will latch On to LeBron and Davis, piggy back off their championship...then cash out to some desperate dumb team “NY” looking for help.
Won’t play the team game here and rise up to the enormous challenge we have trying to win with two young allstars. That’s too much work.
I never ever believed he was ever going to come here.

Still jacked we found our Kemba solution. Horford is an ideal back-up C for us.
Pretty sure Presti loved Langford pre-draft.
Kemba, TT, Romeo and a 1 for Al.
Will be kind of annoyed that Presti will be able to sell Kemba and TT for value, but its so worth it anyways.

Call me crazy, but Timelord starting and Thompson/Wagner off the bench is more than ok with me.
It's a risk with Rob, but I HATE Drummond man lol
