Well, they've already had their "offseason". It just came right before the Playoffs.
I still think that they need the time, until December 25th. -- For things like free-agency, etc.

Now we're talkin'.
We'd have at least a #14 pick, with a distant possibility for a higher pick.

We have a healthy roster now AND the addition of the wing defender/play maker we've needed in Justice Winslow plus we have a 4 game lead with 8 to play which means even if the 9th place team is within 4 games of us they'd have to beat us twice to take our 8th spot... that's not happening. Just enjoy the 17th pick we give y'all in this weak draft and be thankful...lol

Lol. Your incredible franchise not only gave us a 1st round pick for Jeff Green, but then you gave us another 1st round pick that you had acquired from the Clippers (for Jeff Green!!) in exchange for Deyonta Davis. Thank you so much!! Lolololol

Even if we don't make the playoffs (we are) we'd have the best record of the lottery teams which means either the pick is top 4(which means we KEEP it) or it's 14th and goes to you guys. So there is a chance we could add James Wiseman to our team..... fantastic.

If you get Wiseman maybe you could finally be an over .500 team. Fantastic!

Yup, Celtics fans need to remember the protections on this pick. The dream died when they got the #2 and Morant was awesome. It's a mid-first, which isn't bad for Jeff Green, but isn't what we (myself included) had been salivating about heading into this season. Just like fricking SAC last year -- can't get lucky every time. Kudos to MEM. I really like Ja.

What are we waiting for?
Season doesn't re-start until July 31st. Why not June 30th, or soon after?

What's the extra month for?
