Okafor couldn't rotate if you put him on a carousel

Just a hunch -- the way Stevens values defense, consistency, effort, and winning, Okafor, if acquired, might not see more minutes than Brown is getting now. And I believe Brown has better character, work ethic, and attitude than Jah, regardless of the environment they're in. That would be two #3 overall picks getting passed over by vets in PT. I'm already bracing for double the complaints.

Something's gotta go down before this board goes completely inane.

I'd trade both Brooklyn picks and Jaylen Brown for Okafor, who showed more *ELITE* offensive ability in his ROOKIE YEAR as a 20 year old who has *never been coached!!* than JayLAME Brown and two unproven hypothetical imaginary lotto picks could ever hope to have, lolol.

I think you forgot the green font. Because without it that is the dumbest thing I have ever read on Realgm, and I read the general and knicks board.

So...when are we trading for Noel? I'm ready to get this done.

The idea of getting Noel is growing on me, but maybe wait until summer and see if he'll sign as a FA to something we can stomach -- skipping the whole give-up-assets-for-him-now step?

If they hadn't signed Noah, this would be excellent for Knicks future.

Just a thought, in order for Melo to leave New York some team actually has to want to trade for him. That could be the sticking point.

Melo Melo Melo. His game sucks to winning basketball games. Now he's got nowhere to go but piggy bank on Bron's shoulders to try and win his 1st title...sad.

Cavs, Clippers, and Rockets might want him. Not sure what they'd be willing to give up. Most likely nothing substantial.

Wait. Is this serious? If so, can we flag for future comedic purposes?

They could have Okafor for a future 1st or 2 and probably some random players. Okafor has been DNP CD

They either are committed to him or they're not. I wouldn't make a trade now. Sign him to offer sheet in off-season if you are going to tie much of the salary space to him anyway, work a sign and trade if workable.

Melo wanting a trade may be our chance to get griffin in a 3 way.

I'm sure if we add Crowder in 3 way going to lac with Melo Doc could bite.

Than expiring, some young players and picks to NY.

Yes griffin being fa, no need to lose assets, but...If we get him with crowder+non Brooklyn picks.

Than we can go all in with both Brooklyn picks for Butler.

It/ab/Butler/griffin/Horford

With smart/brown/Kelly bench.

Yeah but even though Melo is saying this his wife has final say. Although I'm sure she wouldn't say no to LA another issue with this deal is that Blake Griffin is a star player in this league. Doc Rivers does not like giving up stars. He would try and add Melo to the core of Griffin DJ and Paul but not trade Griffin for Melo.
