Counting Shaq and Dave Bing, I think it's 20?

They are nothing special. If we're healthy, I got us over them. Our biggest concerns come playoff time are MIL and BKN. Yes, BKN lost to MIL in the opener, but Durant is unstoppable and if Harden is healthy, he too will put up ~30 a game. Durant is easily the most unstoppable player in the league on offense, he's just way too quick and too tall. Even last year in the playoffs, when they put Giannis on him, he made the Freak look silly on defense. Averaged 40 pts.

As for MIL, they have championship pedigree now. Giannis is still a brute with great mobility/agility. Middleton is somewhat underrated as a 2nd star and Holiday compliments the other 2 well. They have pretty good role players.

To sum it up, I'm somewhat upset we didn't go all in. No team looks unbeatable, I'm just not sure we have enough. It will depend again on how guys like Richardson and Schroeder perform in the long run. I wish we tried to get more established/stable bench that is able to perform on night to night basis without a drop-off(it could still happen but it's kind of a unknown for now).

I believe we could've been in the Finals twice already just by having a reliable/vet led bench. That's just my belief tho...

A team with Bam, Jimmy, Lowry and two absolute snipers is always going to be pretty damn special to me.. But yea we can beat them.
WHAT THEY GON’ SAY NOW? ‎ THANK YOU TRUTH!

I was kind of laughing at Toronto for passing on Suggs at the draft. Not so much right now. OG, Barnes and Siakim is a nice front court. Lots of defense, length and quickness. Add 2 snipers in FVV and Trent Jr and they have a nice team. Not enough to make real noise but potentially a playoff team.

This is not an attempt to excuse that piss poor performance last night. Hell Siakim didn't even play.

But Barnes looked good. Mobley has also put up good number through 2 games. Suggs has had a rough stat line through 2 games but based on the preseason I can see why people were high on him. Looking forward to seeing Cade play when he is healthy.

Old friend Javonte Green seems to have landed on his feet in Chicago. I miss my binkie!

Harden with a single free throw today. I didn't watch that game -- can I assume that the new rule is affecting him?

Yep. Nets do not look like the Titans they did last season for sure. Without Cryrie and Harden's ft parade being neutralised the East is wide open.

Prokorov's posts ruin every Kyrie thread over there. That guy is relentless, he makes people's eyes bleed.

Well, according to Scal, the Knicks and Toronto have AMAZING tough players. Unbelievable that the Knicks lost.... :o

Not looking forward to facing Charlotte. East is no joke this year. Miami, Charlotte, Brooklyn, Milwaukee, Atlanta... woof. This team could honestly finish 6th this year unless they find some chemistry on offense and improve their defensive switching/communication.

Knicks fans already turning on Kemba Walker in their forum. That didn’t take long, 4 games

That says more about Knicks fans than it does about Kemba.
