Yeah I was also lucky enough to see and meet him at Rock the Bells some years back.

Lagavulin is amazing but if we're drafting Sabonis with the Brooklyn pick he will need the divine burnt forest, moss ladden destruction that only Laphroig can provide.

I'm personally not a big peat guy whereas some of my buddies love it. I'm just not into drinking a fire place. I wish I could afford to expand my scotch tasting outside of whiskey events. I'm starting to like Boubron more and more. Probably because it's a little cheaper. I may have a drinking problem :o

Agreed, but I'm going to thoroughly enjoy watching Payet do his thing tomorrow (yes, I'm a biased Hammers fan myself).

2008 Rock the Bells? I was at that one.

If we don't deal the BK pick and take Sabonis I'm not even sure if the Laphroig 10 will do the trick. Cask strength minimum,

Personally I'm not all about the peat, which is why I prefer the more well rounded Lagavulin. I'm a big fan of Dalmore 15 if you're looking for non-peaty. I'm also a Macallan fan when looking for a more attainable scotch.

Lakers will hopefully forever remain in no mans land, while good ol' Jose will lead United back to the promise land.

No Duncan today, also no Diaw or Ginobili today and tomorrow.

Hope they go all out tomorrow against Dallas. That means Leonard, LMA, Duncan, Parker..

Nice, man. That show was ill. Most white people I've ever seen at a concert (and I've been to several Tool shows). Rae, Nas, Tribe and Redman (surprisingly) were on point. EB and Rakim as well.

Might have to cop some of this if we draft Sabonis with the Brooklyn pick:

I was at that tour when the Tweeter center existed. Gang Starr was at the show I went too and I believe it's the only time I saw Public Enemy..not sure. I'm sure I was twisted.

So let's get started for tomorows BIG two games... we need updates on who's playing from the Clippers/Phoenix & Toronto/Brooklyn game here's the first one!

Nobody should be playing for the Clippers... It's a pointless game. I'm expecting Reddick/Paul/Jordan and Griffin to all sit out of this 1.

Hoping Phoenix can do it and seal the deal, wouldn't mind if BKN just flat out loses so that we don't have to count on PHO winning.

But damn, Dallas might end up with a better record than DET :banghead: :banghead:
Good assessment:

Jp, looks like DAL pick will be a coin flip with DET for 17th or 18th...could become 3 team coin flip if POR does not win home agaisnt DEN...That way DAL would get 5th seed in West haha, unreal

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Talking about BRK:TOR game. JOseph and Paterson did not play yesterday so sure they will start today. Carrol out as one poster said. Than imo they rest Scola, Valenciunas, Lowry and Derozan. Than would give them a team of:

Joseph/Wright
Powell/
Ross/Caboclo
Patterson/Thompson
Biyombo/Noguera

Looks like this will be a 9 man roatation.

Problem is that Brooklyn game is played before Suns game. Suns will know if losing helps them before game starts.

I had great "fun" tracking this thread. A ton of posts and posters caught my eye for their vast knowledge of the Mavericks. From pre-season, to in-season, whenever I checked the forum, there were always some gems.

This one in particular was interesting though. The Mavs would be bottom 3 in the West. He'd pay someone else $100 dollars if they went .500.

The likely final roster is as follows

Williams-Barea-Felton
Matthews-Harris-Jenkins
Parsons-Anderson-Evans
Nowitzki-Villanueva-Powell
Pachulia-McGee-Mejri

Williams, Matthews, Parsons, and McGee are all dealing with injury problems.

I think Pachulia is under rated. All in all that is s decent starting lineup if healthy. I'd agree with you they will not quite make the playoffs in the West. a 12-14 pick for the Cs.

Zaza is underrated. But the Blue goggles are almost as bad as the green goggles here. No way is Dallas sniffing 40 wins. If they go .500 I'll send you $100 swear on my life.

They are going to suck. We're not getting that pick. They will be a bottom 3 team in the west. Dirk's gonna get 15-6 Good %'s & bad d. like horrible d. Matthews - TBD on a horrible deal. Barea's so overrated. Parsons is good, but he's a 16ppg player. The most your getting out of your top 2 scorers is 34ppg tops.

The bench?! Worst in the west. The Wolves, Blazers, Nuggets, all have a better benches & those are like the worst teams out there. So starters are average (if they ever all make it there together). I respect the Cuban/Dirk love affair, but sometimes it's best for both to go separate ways.

"No way is Dallas sniffing 40 wins"

They get to 42/43, despite a recent prolonged losing streak and being short-handed with injuries.

"Dirk's gonna get 15-6 Good %'s & bad d. like horrible d."

Dirk is at 18.3 ppg, 6.5 rbs... without playing "horrible d, like not horrible", but I don't expect people that don't know the Mavs to know that, so it's ok.

In the biggest game of the season, he just had 22/11. With "not such horrible d". At age 67, teams still pay extreme attention to him and that opens things up for Barea, Williams.

"Barea's so overrated"

Western Conference player of the week on a decimated Mavs team.

Substantially better than Brooklyn IMO. Not sure Brooklyn is playing more than one guy that starts on that group, if that.

lol. I'll let 2Mas off the hook here. I was wrong as well. I was saying just missing the playoffs which would have been pretty close if Barea didn't turn into prime Steve Nash. Oh well.

good luck in the playoffs.

I hope Toronto remembers BKN beating them in the playoffs two years ago, and Pierce's tweets afterward. Get your revenge tonight, Toronto.
