Lab was traded to Sactown, but yep, I also wanted Bender and Dudley on the Celtics.

Madness. Absolute madness. 94 mil for Parsons, 153mil for Conley..talk about handcuffing yourself to the treadmill.

Those are now their two stars, Randolph has one year left..

Yeah except Parsons isn't even close to being a star. Dude is a pretty boy version of Jeff Green when he was with us. As Banners would say, he's a glorified ham and egger. Conley is a solid player but is he even a top 10 PG in the NBA? I mean a 6'1 PG that has never averaged more than 6.5 assists per game in 9 NBA seasons and they give him a top 3 contract in NBA history? Like what? Awful. I understand the need for a small market team to overpay to keep their best guys but my godness..what a kick to the nuts.
WHAT THEY GON’ SAY NOW? ‎ THANK YOU TRUTH!

I dont believe these suns rumors. No one is really reporting that as something substantial and if that was really goong to get done i would believe atlanta would have already agreed. I think Atlanta qould rather keep millsap.

Yes, Danny needed to draft 3 PFs, of which 2 will need years to develop if they ever and then chase more PFs, while you have already have 3 + 2 centers on the team, so they'll have like 6-7 PF/C before the season starts. Exactly what I expected.
Good assessment:

Swapping in Deng for Kobe is the biggest upgrade in the NBA next season. Don't think the Lakers challenge the Nets now for worst record, although still doubt they win 35 games.

Big loss for Miami, wonder if that sends Wade out of town.

Does he have anything left? It'd be great if he can give them something and teach the rooks. We need LAL over Brooklyn.

(i'm rooting for LAL :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: hopefully they gave him a long, expensive contract)

I love what the Lakers are doing. You know...because they aren't very good moves and I hate them.

I don't know why anyone is shocked by the numbers. When the cap went up so did the floor, and no team wants a payroll lower than 83M because then it has to distribute empty dollars to its players at the end of the year.

But why is that a negative? If anything your players will be very happy with the team, especially the guys locked up long term on small contracts or rookie deal guys. You're still paying 83 mil no matter what, locking into long term deals is not the best way to reach the floor.

Lakers turning themselves into Knicks West isn't a bad thing. That means when they convey their pick to the Sixers, it won't be a top-3. Adding useful but overpaid guys like Mozzy and Deng means they won't be awful, but have locked themselves into perpetual mediocrity.

Sup Celts fans, I just found out Sully is a free agent so far no team has come up with an offer yet. Would you guys like to have him back? I always take him as my sleeper big in my fantasy leagues lol.
