K Walker is playing very well at the moment, And I am very happy for him. Don't think he can maintain this throughout the season however

Kemba's offense was really never the issue IMO.

It's him being a defensive liability that becomes a problem in the playoffs.

That says more about Knicks fans than it does about Kemba.

Kemba and Fournier gave the Knicks nearly 40 pts as starting backcourt last night and literally cost them no assets to add to roster.

Kemba is a great teammate and a good shooter. For what Knicks paid is a solid addition.

For Celtics, paying the max for a guy who doesn’t defend and can’t be relied on to play isn’t worth it. If you are going to get 10 ppg from a max player, it is better to overspend on a big who is a legit defender and fills a huge need like Al.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Kemba was good for us when he played, modulo the D but that was always below par. Let's see if his knee holds out, if so the Knicks will have done very well.

He's been pretty bad outside the last game against the 6ers. It's only 4 games in, but that reminds me a lot of last year. Every 4-6 games we'd get a "Kemba's Back!" game and then he'd miss time or just underwhelm. That was all on a max contract though. Maybe he's worth it now?

By the way, I absolutely love the fact that players like Trae Young and James Harden are complaining that they are not getting the manufactured calls that they use to get.

NBA should have cleaned this up a long time ago.

Curious question, is anybody else having a hard time giving a crap about the NBA in general this season?

Normally I'm a full league pass guy watching an array of games every night, giving a crap, etc. Not sure what it is but this season but it's difficult to care. The most I can do is tune into the Celtics, get disappointed and go to bed.

tough blow for bulls. depth in the front court was already a weakness for them before this..

I’ve kinda felt this way about all sports for the past year or so or even since Covid tbh. Cristiano Ronaldo returning to my team in Football got me hype for a few weeks, but even that is ending up disappointing.

Very sad

On another front, and to paraphrase someone else's line, it looks like Zion is two or three weeks away from being two or three weeks away.

https://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/264611/Ben-Simmons-Preferring-To-Work-With-NBPA-On-Mental-Health-Instead-Of-76ers

Clearly Simmons is having mental health issues. And when you think about the way his season (and the sixers season) ended last season, where all of a sudden out of nowhere a perennial all-star became a complete liability out there, it's pretty sad.

You can't help but ask "what if". What if Simmons got the mental help he needed sooner? The Sixers were the no. 1 seed in the east last year. If he go the mental help he needed sooner, he would have kept playing at an all-star level and who knows, the Sixers could have won the title.

Tatum's shot and overall play has sucked so far this year. But it looks like he isn't the only one.

the Great Dame just went 10 for 27 to get only 26 points in a loss to the Cavs..
