Here's the real reason why Jeff Green hasn't been signed yet

This is kind of a genius rumor to start. For one, it seems like a pretty obvious reason he isn't signed on the surface. If he doesn't play, he can claim he was correct. If he does play, he can say it is because he just got better. His heart was good enough for the C's to sign off on a longterm contract.

While humble is on record saying Jeff Green is a poor man's Lebron James offensively, and implying he's the team's next Bruce Bowen on defense, I really don't think he's anything more than a competent reserve that is necessary to give Paul Pierce the rest he needs throughout the season. I believe if Green is out, we should be able to find a replacement in that respect. ( assuming we'll have that 9 mill to work with? )
