was just gonna post this.....the Lee and Bradley Defensive combination will SHUT down the entire League...Teams will be using their Forwards to bring the ball up...just like tonight---PRESSURE---!!

Not to be all I told you so because Im not telling anyone so, but I was psyched about the prospect of these two and their combined defensive impact before Bradley came back, and i'm glad it's working out. People were selling Lee short around here (naturally, we were getting our ass kicked and everyone had a hand in it), but he, like Bradley, really does have super athleticism.

I've been on the brink of death (not literally) with a horrible flu for two weeks, so it's nice to resurrect just as the Celtics are doing the same. They sure helped bum me out even more when I was sick though. :D

Barbosa deserves some recognition for what he brought early in the first. It looked like New York might have ran away with this one when it was 18-8 and we were having trouble scoring outside of Garnett and Pierce was in foul trouble. He made the pace if the game much faster and provided much needed offense to bring us back in the game. It may not sound like a whole lot but for a veteran like himself accepting coming off the bench knowing he may not play some games was great to see.

For most part, our ballmovement was brilliant today.
Clearly, Pierce is much better suited with Terry or Bradley at the pointguard.
When you surround Pierce with 2 high percentage 3 point shooters like Terry,
you will end up with better spacing and most plays would be run through either Pierce or KG
ie. running Pierce off of KG's screen or KG post ups.

I really like this team when they win. Hopefully they can continue.

Lee and Bradley look great together.

I know many folks will disagree with this, but I wish we got rid of the VC and just made post game threads.

The majority of the time it becomes a pissing contest and we loose focus on the TEAM.

3 wins in a row. First win against the best defense in the league, 2nd/3rd win over top 3 teams in the East. All done as a team

The guys are finally within their defined roles and our man/team defense has really picked up

I love our TEAM right now

What's so impressive about this is that we had 26 assists and only 10 turnovers without Rondo in the game.

Satisfying.

My guess is it has to do with a simplified playbook.

And Avery Bradley. He makes the team click. I have been thinking about it and have come to the conclusion that - he is our team's leader. He leads by example, better than any of our vets do. Sully seems to be in a similar mold. He should also be starting IMO.

I don't want to get too excited about this victory. Knicks were without Felton and lack a third real impact player to go alongside Carmelo & JR. And to put things in perspective, Wizards beat the Thunder tonight, Hornets beat the Spurs, Jazz beat the Mavs. We are still not above .500

Great win. Though I'm not going to sleep on the Knicks, especially when Shumpert returns. Though it's comforting to see Carmelo has not changed his self-centered mindset. Even before the meltdown, the guy was straight up chucking.
Thanks Brad for answering my ad,

But after KP, your C play? You broke my heart Fredo.

Clowns wishing ACL injuries on Pierce, death on Pierce and wishing the guy who stabbed Pierce finished Pierce off. Pathetic fans.

Also seem to claim that their record suddenly washes away all of the past failures.

Check out the name of their postgame thread "Paul Pierce Owns Our Souls Post Game Thread". LMAO

They since changed it to a regular postgame thread, but within the thread, the name is still there.

You know what else I loved about last night's game? Jeff Green. He was fantastic. Pierce got in foul trouble early and Green came in and attacked, played defense and grabbed rebounds. We didn't miss a beat with Pierce off. He also made it his mission to attack Novak at every opportunity which led to his benching which helped us down the stretch (we could've gone at him defensively, but offensively he is a great shooter). That's what Green is getting paid to do! Now it would be even better if he can keep it up.

I went with Jeff Green because he was a ::GULP:: catayst with Paul in foul trouble...

What I really loved about last night was that the instant Paul got the ball at the top of the key the sent KG to set a pick creating two mismatches. Chandler on Paul and Carmelo on KG.

What I loved even more is that Paul was patient and didn't settle for jacking three's with Chandler backing off. That to me had the biggest impact on our offense last night...

Great team win, great energy, great attitude. Love it.

I may be acting like a sh*t-head about this one, but I'm really sick of people and especially NY fans calling this a rivalry. This is NOT a rivalry. This is one team who constantly destroys the other. 14-3 in the big 3 era. Swept in our one playoff matchup. These are just normal games on the schedule.

I love that they were both trolls. That's what truly great players do, and that's how you get a rivalry. Jordan shat on the Knicks, too. Do you hate him?
