I would have Sent it. But –
Nobody does that Anymore . . .

We don't even meet, In-Person
We just get Tangled & Wrangled
In the Mangle, of Cyberspace

The T.V., was a Wonder
The Phone – Genius
The Internet.... "No Comment"

We are Closer than ever Now
Yet, farther Apart
So are the Penance, of Technology

We have a Library on our Desktop
So we Don't go
To the Real One

Music, Movies, Multimedia, and More
Everything at our Fingertips
We don't even go out, and Mingle

I want to leave this Addiction
And go back to Reality
I Wonder though. Is there anyone still left, There?

I wrote a Letter the other day
I would have Sent it. But –
Nobody does that Anymore . . .

An almost perfect track in my opinion.

hey just visiting from raptorsland and was surprised to see a thread with the words art and literature in the title... just checked out the last couple pages and am decidedly impressed with you cultured bostonites...a poem, a reference to Bitches Brew (though calling it water over rocks is a curiously mellow image for such mind-jarring craziness), videos by good bands from different musical styles and a distinct absence of 6IXNine and other wankers...congrats...looking forward to the game tonight...

Saw Halloween this afternoon. Not quite on par with the original, but very good regardless.

Spoiler:
there was an odd and pointless twist, that was the only thing that bothered me

You should be warned that I enjoy Season of the Witch, please don't hold that against me.

Everybody, watch "the Haunting Of Hill House" adaptation on Netflix, fantastic across the board.

Also the new Halloween is cool, good pacing and the score is awesome. 7/10 IMO.

I just had a random about politics and how angry everybody is with Trump. I don’t think I’ve ever voted Republican. Last election I personally couldn’t bring myself to vote for either party. I didn’t like the character of either Hillary or Trump.
I can day for sure I won’t vote for Trump coming up and I’m pretty cynical as far as Dems, but we’ll see.
But from the worst that we even GUESS Trump has done doesn’t touch the Catholic Church. They’ve been shown to be lying AGAIN. Yet, this isn’t in the news everyday. Why is the pope not being investigated? Or is he? I’m trying to find info on it and his denial isn’t much of a denial and it seems he’s skating on by. Or am I just looking in the wrong places? Where is the outrage on the news networks? Why does the chitch as an organization even exist?

I’ve been watching the 2nd season of “ Making a Murdurer”. Wow. The defense attorney is a powerhouse. She reminds me of the Emperor in Return of the Jedi. She just has supreme confidence and is just relishing the chance to destroy the prosecution. I’m not sure how much of her confidence is real or to just get her client off but can’t take my eyes off this lady.

Sports betting fall in this thread?

In what stood to be a close game, I was thinking Saquon Barkley would get 20+ carries. I mean who else would the Giants lean on, Eli?

If you like Impressionism, Van Gogh's art, or just visual arts in general, you owe to yourself to see "Loving Vincent" on Netflix.

It was pretty dope. Didn't remind me a ton of the first movie, but great movie in it's own right. I thought the weakest part was Thom Yorke's soundtrack. Everyone on here knows I hate Radiohead but taking my bias out he didn't do a great job. I'd go as far as to say he actually hurts one scene of the movie with his music. Hard to live up to Goblin though.

The movie was good enough that I will see it again with a friend who couldn't go last night. I normally don't do that as I hate going to the movie theater.

I know some of you guys follow the Boston Uprising, and today is the OW world cup. Team USA just got mollywhopped by the UK. This is like Puerto Rico destroying the USA all over again. One team had literally ALL the best players, but the hubris made them all think they were greater than the team and they all thought they could hard carry against one of the weaker teams in the tournament.

I'm in awe, and I need to talk about it, and there's no way I'm doing it on facebook and letting my friends know a 30 year old man watches teenagers play a video game for a living.

I am a huge Uprising fan. Many of my friends here in Philly are Fusion fans.

None of us give a single **** about the World Cup. Horrible play. They should get rid of it imo. I haven't watched a single match. Ever. I will go ahead and continue to not care. Go Uprising.

I like Yorke, but I'm not all that impressed with the soundtrack. It sounds like it would fit the film, though, but I haven't seen it. I do think the title track is very good.
