Worst case scenario (pre-lottery): 5 & 19?

Please tell me Nets won't catch Pelicans and Kings at this point.

Still would have to double up to get within the top ten (and quintuple up to beat out Klemen's effort). I don't know how you guys have that much more time on your hands than me - I have a lot of time on my hands.

Also, I fully, unequivocally support the one-game tank vs. Phoenix coming up.

Is it better for Dallas to have 1% chance at top 3 pick or 1% chance of winning a series against Ws/SAS? Probably depends on if they want to sign Dwight Howard, then making the playoffs would increase the free agent appeal.

Nets pick is going to be in the lottery, the cherry on top of that is the Dallas pick.

I didn't watch the game and since the raps for some reason have conceded HCA it would't surprise me of the cavs tanked that game to hurt the Celtics chances at a better pick.

I am all for the Celtics losing on purpose tomorrow.

Raps are idiots. They need that homecourt. This is one of the few scenarios where you go balls to the wall even if you're gassed.

Dallas is very likely to lose tonight vs GS. After that they have a good opportunity to pick up some wins.

Then the finish the season out:

@Clips
@Utah
vs.Spurs

Fairly certain Spurs will have locked up the 2nd seed by that last game. Maybe Sac can play them tough, but hard to count that as a loss for Dal. If they lose one of the Den/NY games that would be huge. I think Det/Hou have a good chance of winning. Who knows with Minny, and Mem is anyone's guess. Then I like the Clips winning, Utah game could be huge with a likely win at the end of the year against the Spurs.

I think 6-4 is a good possibility and 6-5 finish including the GS game. That would put them at 41-41.

Houston's final four games are:

vs. Suns
vs. Lakers
@ Min
vs. Kings

Before that they play TOR/IND/CLE/CHI/OKC and the important @Dal. Houston would need seven wins to get to a 42-40 record. They would need to go 2-3 in their next five, beat Dallas and win out their last four games.

Utah has it pretty good for its final stretch.

vs. Min
@PHX
vs. Spurs
vs. Clips
@Den
vs. Dal
@Lakers

Utah also needs seven wins to get to 42 and if they can take care of Min twice/Lakers twice/Phx once then they will need two wins from GS/SAS/LAC/DEN/DAL, so basically Den and Dal. To me that is a tall task to ask Utah to win every winnable game.

I really don't care about that Dallas pick. Utah needs to lose to the likes of PHX and Minny. If it comes down to it we have the ammo to move up if Ainge falls in love with somebody in the late lotto. For now it's all hands on deck for the BRK campaign, including a one game tank vs PHX.

Major difference moving in the top 10.

Can't have it both ways, BRK pick is the one that matters, a potential franchise changer. The rest is pure unadulterated gravy.
