http://www.nba.com/games/20160331/BOSPOR/gameinfo.html?ls=iref:nba:scoreboardhttp://espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=400829014We gave Portland their 40th win and will likely enter the Warriors game tomorrow with a bad mentality. Feels bad, and I only saw half of the game. I imagine seeing the whole thing was much more stressful.
Henderson and Aminu destroyed us. Aminu had a career high.
Next game is @GSW, Friday, April 1st, 10:30pm EST.Time to April fool some mfers.

**** the Trailblazers. Just a **** discount Seattle, Washington.
P.s. I would like to know how the Celtics, a "top 5 defensive team" would let Al-Farouq Aminu score a career high 31 (or 29 idrc) points.

I only caught parts of the game and in those parts the Celtics were leading. Who was guarding Aminu?

Tyler Zeller and Brad Stevens split the 'Loss Dildo'. Tyler Zeller for being one ugly useless **** and Brad for not knowing how to use a goddamn timeout.

The problem wasn't Aminu scoring, as I watched the 4th quarter, it was Henderson, and actually Jae defended him. He went over the pick 3 times and Henderson scored on all 3 trips. Letting Henderson score 10 in 3 mins in the 4th was a bad thing to happen. There's no way in hell a team like the Trailblazers should be beating us, their offense is trash, isolation after isolation, then another isolation, they'll get murked in the playoffs.

If the Cs get the 6th seed prepare for Hawks taking a massive dump on us...

One of those games that makes you consider taking a **** sledgehammer to your TV. One horrible, pathetic, embarrassing stretch cost us this game. And the worst part is, I had to listen to the **** Blazers commentators while it was happening. The guaranteed loss tomorrow at Oracle makes this even more frustrating.

Admittedly, I did not watch until about 6 mins left into the 4th quarter. Your reply just adds to the enigma that is this Celtics team.

Held CJ & Lillard really well... we desperately need starting level 4/5's

Starting AND bench. Jerebko sucks, Olynyk had like 8 points in the 1st quarter and if I look at the box score right now I bet that's what he finished the game with. A good old disappearing act as usual..and then people complain when we call him the next Jeff Green.

It was a sound defensive strategy -- limit their top guards and let the others make plays to beat us. It worked for about 32 minutes. Then we let go of the rope when the bench came in late in the 3rd and early 4th. Also too much reliance on IT on too many possessions. Could've moved the ball more for better shots.
Give the Warriors a good fight tomorrow/later. All I can ask for. Jae apparently will try to play thru pain if he can. Now there's a Warrior.

Two killer turnovers, one by Smart and one by Amir. Both overthrowing outlet passes to AB. You can't do that late in the 4th and expect to win. Smart is further hurting this team, but it's Stevens who gave him all those minutes in the 3rd and deep into the 4th, so Brad also takes the ass of shame. Not so much later in the 4th, but earlier before IT got some rest, they were cheating off Smart and two defenders were focusing on IT. Stotts isn't stupid and I'm sure that was designed to take advantage of Smart not being a threat from the outside.
I didn't like that play out of a TO when we were down 3 with 49 seconds to go. Too risky to take a low percentage 3. Should have been a sure two right there. Brad blew that one. You have to get the sure points. Plenty of time left.

If we couldn't stop Aminu and Henderson, I'm not liking our chances stopping Curry and Thompson. After Friday's loss, we should just be content with the 6th seed. We'd pretty much have to win out to ever get back to the 3rd seed.

You know I've been hard on Olynyk lately, especially his rebounding. But I got to give him his props tonight. He was a monster on the glass tonight. Oh wait. He had 0 rebounds in 17 minutes. Let me repeat that. Olynyk had 0 rebounds in 17 minutes. This is a 7 footer.

The air came out of this team at the trade deadline when we didn't make any upgrades.
I predicted we would win 46-50 games this year. That was with the thinking that we would make a deadline trade to upgrade the team. Ainge made an effort but nothing got done.
I expect another first round exit this season. We just don't have the horses. Next year we will make a huge leap. Finger crossed.

Is anyone else concerned with how small we've been going recently?
We're playing IT/Bradley/Smart/Turner/X lineups...
Sullinger and Olynyk need more minutes. Our guards and wings get so much more playing time than our bigs. Besides IT, I think Sullinger and Olynyk can be just as productive if not more productive than our guard/wing rotation if given the minutes. They've just rarely been afforded those opportunities.

i thought I was going crazy in the game thread when I mentioned it, no one was talking about it much until the one he stood and watch go by in the 4th. you can't be 7ft and not get 1 rebound in a game. Hell you're so tall that the ball will automatically find you at least once, like it literally sees you and thinks to itself "let me drop into the hands of the tallest guy on the court, just a friendly hello!" and boom, a rebound!

Lillard has said it before. Curry has said it too. I have heard many guards/players (former players too) and analysts say the same/similar. Celtics fans don't consider him the best on his own team so there's that.
