OAKLAND – All season long, the Golden State Warriors have been doing things that many considered to be impossible.

Friday night in Oakland, it was the Boston Celtics’ turn to defy all odds.

On the second night of a back-to-back, and without its most versatile player in Jae Crowder, Boston turned the impossible into reality by upending the Warriors 109-106 at Oracle Arena.

Boston’s victory squashed Golden State’s pursuit of an undefeated season at home and snapped the Warriors’ NBA-record, 54-game home win streak.

Better not get swept by this garbage team. Can't get too cocky.

I hope the Celtics don't take them lightly and play lax defense against these guys. Players like Jordan clarkson can get hot and torch you if you allow them.

Hopefully our players stay away from D'Angelo Russel. Wouldn't want him secretly filming our players' conversations.

Two teams that beat the Warriors. Could be a classic.

Lakers will be up for this game. They played a great game in Boston when they beat us..Clarkson set the world on fire that day. They don't want to lose to the Celtics ever. Hopefully we go in there with the same poise and sense of urgency that we went into Oracle with.

Btw, Brad Stevens needs to find ways to play Rozier at least 10 mpg. This kid deserves to be part of the rotation.

I say ride the momentum of the win against the Dubs, beat the crap out of the Lakers, run the table for a 50-win regular season, sweep the 1st two playoff rounds, get into a grueling 7-game ECF series vs. the Cavs ending in another buzzer-beating three by Bradley at the Q, and bring this franchise back to the NBA Finals where it belongs!

Spoiler:
...or y'know, just come out with a W tonight.

All that matters is a win, and by the margin of victory .

Is it possible to rest Amir this game? I know I'm looking ahead, but we need him fresh and healthy for the playoffs. He's been great for us as of late but the last thing I want to see is him get some sort of injury late in the season and then be forced to play Zeller. He kept falling on the ground against Golden State which has gotten me a little worried.

Posted on page three of the Warriors game thread:

SMTBSI wrote:Ugh. With Crowder playing 35 minutes last night [Portland], and sitting out tonight, it really gives the impression that they semi-conceded this one - wanted to make sure to get the win last night and not risk going 0-2 in these two games.

Course, if the world works the way I think it does, that means this will be the one we get.

Now, if the world works the way I think it does, we're totally going to go bi-polar and lose this one.

I would be very happy to be shown that everything I think I know about how the world works is wrong.

Ok, kidding aside, this is the part of the season where we need to be accelerating and clicking. Few more games to reintegrate Jae, get everything ironed up and looking crisp...
