RealGM

Almost all the OP Data from Previous Game Threads that I've made, has been removed.

Articles, Photos, Youtube videos, the Opposing Team Rosters, the VC count, and even the Date, has been removed.

Is anyone else experience this?

Look at these. Even the date in the Title, is missing.
I filled these pages, with data and media, from different sites. They're almost empty now.

If you host all the images in the same place (for example, Photobucket), make sure the hosting website is not down.

Yeah it's quite sad. My Ham n' Eggers signature got deleted from photobucket and since I don't have access to the computer with the sig I can't use it anymore. Exculpatory's treachery will have to do for now.

Use imgur instead of photobucket.

The problem being described by Parl has nothing to do with external site hosting. Words are missing from posts.

That's odd, I don't see anything in the moderator logs about it.

Yeah. It's really weird. I talked to one Mod about it.

The lost data in the posts are from multiple sites. So, it's not that. -- the only common denominator is RealGM.

Not sure what's up. I did see a thread on YouTube embedded links not working properly, but this seems more involved.

I'll ping someone about it.

I think someone's messing with Parl's VC count in his game threads. Once those data are restored, we'll see Tyler Zeller getting all the VCs.

But, even your Data is missing, from your "Stats of the Day".
This is widespread, and it's weird. It goes all the way back to last season.

I tried to recall a post that I had made a few weeks ago by searching my posts only to find an error message telling me that data was not available...

No big deal to me.....But its obvious that some of backlog is getting deleted so as not to have to buy more backup space....

Its a small price to pay I suppose in order to be a part of a fun website....

But its a bit annoying none the less...

These posts start only a week ago.
This site, keeps all it's data. -- There's a Bigger problem here.

This site, keeps all it's data. -- There's a Bigger problem here.

I just checked to see if I could search my old posts and this time they showed up just they have before....

So I don't know if it was something that I did wrong the last time I checked on them or what?

This is due to a database error with the migration to the new server infrastructure, I am very sorry about this, I will have it corrected in short order as we do have a backup of all the posts prior to this.

No data was removed intentionally and all data still exists, nothing was deleted to make space, etc.

I figured that there were backups.
