Trade?

Who should they take? I think Bender.

Who will they take? I think Murray. Possibly Dunn, but he is holding his medical records back, which isn't a good sign.

I'm fairly amused that Philly picked Ingram in this. Think that could be a mistake.

I voted Bender. I agree with you. If we keep the pick, I think Danny will draft Murray.

Dunn wont come for a workout, Hield is old, will be 23 years at the start of the season.

Murray is a PG, we already have 2. And is he even the BPA at 3 ? If he was undoubtedly the best at 3 I'd take him.

Shocked the Dragan Bender is winning by so much, this is a reeeeeealllly tough pick. Danny is lucky he's got great job security because a real good player could be missed. I'd choose Buddy but, come draft day I may very well have someone else in mind and not be even considering Buddy.

I'm more amused that Bender is winning by so much over here. I think Ainge would easily go for Hield or trade down for Brown..I'd be absolutely shocked if Bender was the pick. Goes against everything we have been doing recently..dude will get 10 mpg tops under Stevens.

PS. I wouldn't for a second count out Dunn either. Danny LOVES a PG and I can easily see him shipping off Marcus, Rozier or even Avery and opening up big time minutes for Dunn. Hell I wouldn't be surprised if he drafted him and still kept everybody. Dude is a guard drafting machine. If we don't bring back Turner that's a good 30 mpg opening up anyways..

The shirts would be awesome. I'd push for him to changes his name to THE Dragan Bender. At that point, I wouldn't care if he is a bust.

If you want an elite shooter, draft Bender. His stroke from outside is money.

If Ainge trades the #3 pick, it's 95% or better than the team acquiring it will use it on Bender.

If we don't take Bender, I won't cry about it. I think his potential is worth investing in, but I also see the other side of the coin and why they would want someone who's more developed and ready to contribute. In that case, I'd be fine with Murray, Dunn, Hield or Brown, in that order. (FWIW: Murray is nothing like James Young. Young can't create a shot for himself consistently on an NBA level if his life depended on it, lol.)

This draft is why Ainge gets paid the big bucks. He can't get scared. If the scouts are telling him that Bender is the best option he should go for it.

James Young can create plenty of shots. The problem is, they don't go in.

I'll go with my countyman...so Dragan Bender

My options would be Bender, Brown and Chriss, popular favorites are Bender, Murray and Hield and IMO Danny will select one of Bender, Brown and Murrray.
So, 3 sets all intersect in Bender and that's why I voted for him.

Pelton said in his chat just yesterday Chriss is a player GMs hate to select and pass on. I 100% sign that and that's why all the 3 options I have are there. If one of those 3 relatively raw players doesn't develop into a multiple All-star, I'd be mightily surprised. Which one? That's a bit tougher question. But I don't feel like passing on surer things like Murray, Hield or Dunn is anything regrettable since I project them all to be lower than multiple All-star level.
