I went Horford because I am thrilled to have him here. He has taken our starting lineup up a notch or two or three.
But Brown.... I like that kid a lot

All the Starters played well. But, they don't need a Victory Cigar.
I voted Jaylen Brown. -- He played well with the Starters. -- That 2nd Unit needs Good 6th-Man type playing.

I voted "puff puff pass". There were too many guys kicking butt out there tonight to not share the love.

44% from 3. That's nice.

Al Horford as a Celtic...
35 minutes
20 points
16 rebounds
+41
That was...+41
@seangrandePBP
I've been the same, pretty in and out in the games. But he's looked great from what I've seen. Solid jumper. Surprisingly good bringing the ball up court.

I see that and say, he can get even better the longer he plays with the guys. Might think I'm BS but I'm dead serious, offensively and defensively he (they) can clean up some things. when the guys fully gel with him it will help too. Watch.

Gave it to AB. The shooting is always nice but it's clear that having Horford is doing wonders for his passing out of the PnR. 6 assists two nights ago and another 5 tonight. Can't wait to add KO to this starting 5.

KO won't be in the starting 5....
That starting 5 is set it's just the 2nd unit that needs to gel now... Rozier/Smart/Brown/Jerebko/Olynyk

Same. Gave my vote to AB. It's only preseason but I'm excited about this development. Less dribbling on that starting unit, less pressure on IT to make plays. The ball's just zipping around with the starters on the floor, it's fun to watch.
I was wondering if AB's ever had
back-to-back games of 5+ assists..."Sorry, there are no streaks of 2 or more games that match your search."

Add Young or Green for small ball lineups.

I'm torn about this. KO adds shooting and passing, but Amir provides defense, rebounding, and hustle. He's also our best post defender so the burden is off Horford to guard opposing centers. Right now, I'm leaning towards Amir. They've found their groove. Don't wanna mess that up. Plus KO's offense is more needed in the second unit.

For sure they have found their groove and you can see that, that bench unit really needs spacing and while we don't have the interior D that our starting unit has it's still the second unit... and having a 7' footer stretch the floor and giving us scoring in the 2nd unit with the defence of Rozier/Smart/Brown is essential. Add to that Jerebko also stretching with his 3pt shooting I think it's pretty much locked in.

If Jerebko doesn't get his shot back. We might see Gerald Green at the 3 and Jaylen Brown at the 4 in the second unit.

James Young for the VC for actually playing basketball.
I think Horford looks terrific, much stronger and bouncier than I remember him being recently I think he is happy to be out of ATL and in BOS, might be healthy, also seems to really like playing with Amir, even guilty of forcing a couple of passes to try to get him dunks.
