Wasn't jrob the manga guy? If so he still posts on GB.
Good assessment:

PLO wrote:Tatum played OK - took advantage of a few mismatches - decent on the defensive end. He is what we thought he was going into the season - a technically very proficient player operating close to his career ceiling as a rookie.

And with Celtics pick in the 2017 NBA draft , Danny Ainge selects, Lonso Ball from UCLA.

To be honest I am ok with one of Fultz, Ball or Jackson,.

Part of me wants to see JAckson and Brown play together in a "dragons fire" of athletic potential and defensive kill.
Flanked by Smart and Bradley.

I know the team loves Bradley and Smart but one is going to get traded in this draft.

Tatum or Isaac.

You can all hype up the overhyped point guards, and then the team with five point guard types already can pick a point guard at the top of the draft and then trade him away and get a pick a few spots later, and an unprotected pick next year, and bring in Tatum or Isaac who can actually hit free throws compared to the overhyped point guards of this draft.

I'd be shocked if Ball wasn't #1 on Brad's board. Ball is tailor made for his system.

No idea how Ainge would rank em. He tried to trade Pierce for Paul at the draft, and I see him loving Lonzo. Jackson checks all of the boxes for him-- insane quick twitch athlete who can defend at a high level and handle the rock. Scal has said how much we love Fultz, too. Real interested to see how this all shakes out.

High School ranking are pretty irrelevant at this point. Look back at some previous years of high school rankings if you want a good laugh.

At this rate nobody knows how DA's big board looks like. Probably might be

1)Ball
2)Jackson
3)Fultz

We never know. I just hope we land in the top 3 and i'd be happy with any.

and please no butler/george!

Good find theref; to my recall prior to this summer this was always viewed as the Jackson/Giles draft.

I actually thought this was a forward/big draft. Initially though this was a Giles/Tatum/Jackson draft and considered Fultz/Ball as 2nd tier earlier.

What will Danny do when he selects Lonzo Ball but papa LaVar demands that either Lonzo starts or he won't sign with the team?

Frankly, I like the idea of IT coming off the bench.
