Ofc he wants an extension. He knows better than anybody else that he is going to have a very short career. They were as careful with him as they could have been last year and dude must have played 35 games before getting hurt and he STILL hasn't been cleared for 5 on 5 drills a month away from the season. There is very little doubt in my mind that he will never survive a full 70 games + playoffs..

I dunno. Melo would have won Knicks the odd game here or there. Porzingis is a stud, but we still don't know how he will do as the Main man for a whole season.

And I'm extremely happy Melo didn't end up in Cleveland. East just keeps getting weaker and weaker.
