I only got it now. That's clever.

I've ignored this thread pretty much.....not realizing this was the Hayward thread that seemed to be missing in action from this board.... I kept thinking...Why are they not talking about Hayward?

I guess they were all along but I just didn't catch on because of the threads title! :)

I now put our chances of landing Hayward at 40%. Riley and the Heat are still frontrunners.

Thrilled we got him. Last summer, after Horford, my major concerns were our steps backward in rebounding and secondary playmaking.

This summer, the big risk I see is in offensive chemistry. A risk, not a definite problem like our rebounding has been (Baynes and Zizic should help marginally), and potentially a high reward.

Rozier seems ready to step into the role of Avery Bradley a couple of years ago - strong defense and second-layer offense. But Smart, Brown, Tatum, Baynes, Zizic may be tough to integrate into the offense, Crowder and IT are risks to be unhappy, and Amir and Olynyk were great rotation continuity players. Thirty percent chance we get off to a very rocky start, and/or that IT and Hayward have a Lebron/Love or Harden/Howard or CP3/Blake dynamic.

^^^ Dude is a beast. I think our offense is going to insane with 2 go to scorers now & Horford just making life easier for everyone. Stevens running incredible plays. Top 5 offense. Top 10 defense.

This has been such a positive offseason. I love what i'm seeing from Brown. Tatum had a great summer league. Iffy on Isaiah's hip, but he says he'll be ready for camp. Horford I expect to be the same 15-7. Baynes is a first real blue collar guy we've had in a while. Prob since Hump.

Only issue is Mook's legal issues. Hopefully it's nothing. Cause I think brad's gonna make him look great as well.

So pumped for this season. Going to the damn Finals this year.

UPDATE: IT's wife is still following Gordon's wife on IG. Theis is still following Hayward.

We can probably unpin this thread now, before it hits 100.

I don't normally make it my business to bet against the C's, but my wife and I are planning for a child, and pregnancy is so inconvenient for a working mom, so... what sort of odds are you thinking?

I just can't wait for the season to start already, so we can finally see Brown, Irving, and Hayward take the floor together.

Hayward got a tat I see or is it Theis? Im confused.
Good assessment:

PLO wrote:Tatum played OK - took advantage of a few mismatches - decent on the defensive end. He is what we thought he was going into the season - a technically very proficient player operating close to his career ceiling as a rookie.

Me,too. I also thought Hayward was going to wear number 20. Maybe Theis had dibs on it first.
