Hard to glean anything from this with no clips of his catch and shoot.

Nor any shots from an NBA 3

Out of sight, out of mind. Here are two oldies from 6 months ago to remind us that even with the well-deserved excitement over Daniel Theis, the Dancing Bear should not be forgotten:

http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/18850442/boston-celtics-guerschon-yabusele-ready-nba-year-china

http://www.espn.com/nba/insider/story/_/id/19058283/ranking-top-10-rookies-2016-draftees-future-potential-nba

Note that Chad Ford, who basically was a conveyor belt for Danny and Austin, ranks the Dancing Bear ahead of Jaylen as a prospect...in April 2017!

Yabs has been in Boston for a couple of weeks now, working out with Nader and some others at Celtics HQ. Sure would like to see some reports on how that is going.

Dude's probably just getting back in the swing of things after his surgery. But let's hope the coaching staff has found a way to help him get the D down.

Oof. Schroder and Theis vs the Gasols, Rubio, and Sergio. Tough ask.

4pt Spain lead turned into a 9pt 12pt Spain lead in the 60 seconds 2 minutes since I checked the score.

Theis looks good.

Spain only won because they cheated by playing two Gasols.

Yea, it's been a coming out party for him. He's definitely been one of the better bigs in this tournament.
Good assessment:

His defense is going to earn him rotation minutes early and it's up to him to capitalize on it. Nader and Yabs are almost surely bound to Portland and probably Semi too although I waver on him. Celtics can only dress 12 and I doubt Tatum or Larkin are assigned.

Yabs
Semi
Nader
Bird
Allen

Is likely your starting 5 for the red claws this year

That seems about right. I expect it to be a bit fluid with players coming and going between Boston and Portland depending upon injuries.

That will be a damned interesting team to watch play, that's for sure.

Nope--Semi is about as NBA-ready a rook as the C's have drafted. Larkin, however, barring injury, will spend major time in Maine.

Yeah. We actually can dress 13 now.

But yeah, we're going to have a lot of Celtics up in Maine.
Remember too, that we have 2 x Two Ways, in Allen & Bird.

Lol I just remembered Tatum is technically a teenager. Who's the most talented 19-yo Celtics drafted? Antoine Walker? Big Al?

I'll try to temper my expectations of him in his 1st year. So maybe 18 ppg, 5 rpg instead of 22 ppg, 8 rpg in his rookie season. :P

I'm not saying Larkin is such a sure thing as you do.

If guys can play Stevens will play them.

Especially in the beginning of the year when Stevens likes his experiments with 15 deep rotations

If that turns out to be true. Either Yabusele was a really good pick, Brown was a really bad pick. Or both.
