This is an example of why Danny Ainge kicks ass. If we are t favored 1st the Cavs no reason to give a first for a rental. Next year he’ll go all in when Bron deserts them.

Gotta give props to Altman at least for recognizing a mistake and moving on from it. I started getting scared the last few weeks that if we got to the ECF, we wouldn't be seeing Lebron and the Cavs.

Now hopefully our date with Lebron is back on. To be the Kings of the East you have to beat the King in the East and I'd be so pissed if the Raps knocked them out in the Semi-Final haha.

So Cleveland traded Wade, Crowder, Frye, IT, Shumpert, Rose and their 1st and in return they got

Clarkson, Hill, Nance, Hood and whatever they get for Wade.. WOW talk about a midseason gut job

Raise your hand if you thought out of Crowder, IT, Kelly O & Bradley that Kelly would be the only player still with the team he went tot his summer.

Just read on general board that odds makers probably anticipating moves like this had Cleveland the betting favorite to make it out of the East as of yesterday. It was well choreographed that Cavs would make a series of moves but probably not give up Nets pick. The players they would get were the unknown but I was expecting IT and Rose to be a goner. Not surprised with all of the others except Wade but from a basketball perspective, he needed to go as well and Miami makes sense.

I actually like what the Cavs have done...good balancing act. They had a team that couldn't play defense at all and was not very athletic outside of Lebron. And had some issues. Won't knock off a healthy Warriors squad but now if healthy have a better shot of making it out of the east.

Also, apparently IT's agent says he's not coming off the bench.. So the value of our Laker pick just went back up.. I would not be surprised if his pride forced him to ask for a buyout. He really should just play with LA and increase the value he lost in Cleveland but who knows.

Cavs got better but if I’m you guys I’m not quivering in fear .

Cavs only did that to get closer to the Boston’s and Toronto’s . Reaks of desperation and they didn’t really get any stars .

Best case for Cleveland was that IT figured it out / got healthy, and they get Love back. Now they have a bunch of meh guys who might be better defenders but aren’t really game changers and all come from losing teams.

Doesn’t change anything for the Celtics.

Hill once played for the Spurs. Maybe he remembers something from those days.

Nance's father was a good player for the Cavs. That might be worth something.

The trades make the Cavs better, time to see how much better and if they have time to gel. Lue is still a bad coach, but they have guys capable of playing D now.

Yeah, their best case scenario was IT figuring it out. But he's fallen so far I don't think he can there this season. They will still be a tough out and they picked up some grinders and will likely pick up another or two on the buyout market. Their long term outlook is shot. But that was always the plan.

I think the single move to sign Monroe(really the only thing that we needed) exceed what Cleveland has done.

Can we guess at the new starting lineup for CLE?

Hill
Hood
Jeff Green (???)
LeBron
TT

When Love is back:

Hill
Hood
Uncle Jeff (???)
LeBron
Love

Is Jeff Green really gonna be a starter?

This is a low-key shrewd first step towards their rebuild. The fact that it may benefit this season for them is gravy but at least they shed a lot of old wood and have a few more yoots going forward once Bron inevitably wipes his ass of them.

They're prolly gonna start JR Smith and move Hood to SF... Or play TT alongside Love. Either way, their starting lineup became much more dangerous, and they now have a legit big coming off the bench in Nance JR...

Cavs still suck and those bitch ass fans that kept hating on I.T will realise their problems are far greater than him.

I am happy for Kelly, always liked his spunk.

It's too easy to blame all your problems on the littlest guy, especially for cowards.
