Call me crazy but I felt like Kyrie needed some sort of knee surgery all season. At times he didn’t look right or as explosive enough as I saw him in Cleveland. Maybe I’m delusional. But it says a lot of how great I think Kyrie is because his numbers speak for themselves and he was damn good regardless if I thought he was playing through with some sort of knee pain. I’m glad he got this done and I hope whenever the season ends, the next day he will get the right surgery to remove those screws so he can be 100% for next season.

If Kyrie misses the first round we're definitely losing the series. Just not enough offense. Oh well. A championship wasn't in the cards this year no matter what.

I listened to all the podcasts and did some research. Nothing will be determined until they take a peak in his knee tomorrow. He could literally be out for days or months.

I’m wondering if they’ll bring back Jordan Crawford. Who else is even available?

I wouldnt be surprised if Kyrie is taking this procedure, which is prob just an MRI or fluid drain, so that he could get an extended rest.. and the Celts can sign another guard or wing. The Celts wont fall to 3rd and cant get 1st.. so why put the extra stress on it.

If the Celts do have a chance to sign a guy, it should be imo:
Brandon Rush
Jordan Crawford
Ty Lawson

If we get the exception, I vote Stephen Zimmerman.

Best case, we see glimpses of the next draft bust to break out Hassan Whiteside style. Worst case, CHL gets a new token white guy to roast.

Would be awesome, since it's not clear if Smart will return either, a scorer off the bench would be fantastic and the guy legit had the best time of his career playing for Brad. :D
Good assessment:

PLO wrote:Tatum played OK - took advantage of a few mismatches - decent on the defensive end. He is what we thought he was going into the season - a technically very proficient player operating close to his career ceiling as a rookie.

I guess. Not sure they get out of the first round without Irving though.

This season has been a nightmare with injuries. Just shut Irving down and start again next year.]
