Haha it was sarcasm, in reference to the million tweets posted here that says no one is coming back.

Wait 'til next year.
When everyone's back.

According to D'amico Larking should be back soon and he looks really good in practice.
Good assessment:

At full strength the Cs mop the floor with Cleveland. While this run is fantastic it is also somewhat frustrating. I'd say 95% fantastic and 5% frustrating. :)

Theis says he should be able to do full contact in August, hopefully play with the German national team in September, and then be ready for camp.

This is weird. D'Amico said Larkin was looking good and he expected him to play by game 6. He said he saw him workout. Guess he didn't get his facts straight... :(

Larkin has been working out. But his shoulder must not be ready enough to play.

What actually happened to Larks shoulder? I know he ran into that Embiid screen, was it just muscle damage?.

No idea he hurt his shoulder on the Embiid screen. it's been a while. Was hoping he'd be back for game 6, we could've used him as Marcus Smart and his namesake basically killed us the same way they did in game 4 in MIL.

in the end, we just couldn't buy Shane Larkin enough time to return for the Finals.

burn this thread and see that it spawns no children.

but also how fitting that Baynes broke his nose in game 6 of the ECF -- probably explains his long absence then? -- the hits just never stopped coming.

NEXT TIME WE PLAY GORDON AND KYRIE SHOULD BE PLAYING WITH US

So while I’m happy the young guys are getting experience, the main goal is not attainable, thus the negativity.

In sports anything can happen. Injuries can happen to other teams as well. You can never say never. Who would have imagined that a player gets injured after 5 minutes into the season and we still contend? This is sports. While it´s unlikely that we reach the FInals and once there even less likely to win...you need to keep fighting and believing. Just step by step , not looking at the end of the road...but that end might still be the title.

Come on now, stop with the “ra ra” stuff.

This team has absolutely no chance of beating a Golden State with this injury-plagued roster. Let’s not pretend that’s possible. It isn’t. At all.

So in the end it was actually 6 minutes away from becoming true. I tell you, in Sports anything is possible and it was actually a shocker not to be in the Finals this year. So next time, don´t understimate the chance of our Celtics. ;)
