This is a great measuring stick for the team. If we can spin off 5 straight after the first 27 hours of the season we had, we should feel real good about our chances to watch basketball deep into May.

I went into our Bucks/Heat/Spurs stretch thinking we’d take 2 out of 3, so I’m nervous for this game. But I’m optimistic that our strong play can keep up. I’ll take the Celtics winning a close one, though my brain has us losing.

Tough one. Not going to pretend to be blindly optimistic, given our recent history with this team. I'm prepared to be perfectly happy with a 4-3 October, given how it started.

Still, Spurs will be on a back-to-back, and still without Kawhi, I think? Definitely an opportunity here, to keep things rolling and build this team's confidence.

This is the only team the Stevens-era Celtics haven't beaten.

This might be our best chance to do it. No Kawhi, no Parker. Caught them on a B2B, 3rd game in 4 nights, all on the road. They just lost big to the Magic. We'll see what Pacers can do tonight. Cs riding on a league-leading 4-game win streak.

We match up well with their best players. Put Tatum on Gay, Horford on LMA, Baynes on Gasol. We could put Brown on Murray. Their PG can ball and might be better than Tony at this point.

Five straight, here we go!

We should know before 5PM (per new NBA rule) if Pop is resting any of his players against us apart from the injured Kawhi, Parker, and Lauvergne. I believe Leonard and Parker didn't travel with the team. Lauvergne is day-to-day.

Spurs are playing tonight. No Kawhi, if we do not beat them this time, I do not know when we will...

I feel we can beat the Spurs tomorrow. It's been a while since our last W against them and they're without Kawhi. That's a great opportunity to beat their ass

We owe them one. Not sure how they are doing well as they look fairly average without Kawhi squadwise, but Spurs gonna Spur.

They're 4-1 so not sure average, they're still good. Obviously not as good without Kawhi though.

Their defense is still super, super good. I'm watching them face Indiana right now, they can defend like crazy but are having a terrible shooting night and are losing.

Hell, Rudy Gay is playing great defense for them. Has he ever played defense in his life?
