Trying a different tactic -- let's lose this one, guys! Yeah, I think we're going to lose this one big. Five straight, baby!!

The way they’ve played during this losing streak DJ might go for 30/20 tonight. This team needs front court help badly.

Will be disappointed if Smart doesn't choke out Austin Rivers by the end of the night.

“These are dog days,” Garnett said. “This is really where you really see who’s with you. Ain’t nobody cheering, ain’t no lights on us and I love this right now. Because this is where all the plastic people melt right here…
“We gotta play better,” Garnett said. “We gotta have some self pride in ourselves. Gave up 100 and something points three games in a row, and it ain’t been close. We gotta at some point take it personal, you know?”

Maybe he meant Montrez Harrell.
Any word on Horf's head and Kyrie's knee?

I'm going to say this again, because I said it last thread: WE NEED TO WIN THIS ONE.
I don't mind losing streaks, they're normal over a long season, but my goodness, the team has been able to relax -- apparently, too much.

As long as he doesn't choke and miss the last shot again.
Oh.

He's listed as doubtful. Jawun Evans is out too.

This team could use some of this. Maybe he can call them like he did in the playoffs to wake them up again.

We're up against a disappointed Lou Will who was snubbed of the all star reserve. Dude might go off. Need someone to lock him up.

Things could get really ugly soon judging by how bad the team has looked lately. Clippers, Warriors, Nuggets all road games.

Tatum has hit the rookie wall
Brown has hit the isn't good wall
Smart has put up the wall between the team and actually winning.
Lots of things for Irving to overcome on his own with the gentle Horford not able to do anything but flow with whatever way the team goes bad or good.

I’m back to not expecting this team to win but being pleasantly surprised if they do. It’s like the 2014-15 season, but in reverse.
Just gotta hope they find a way to turn it around at some point. It’s hard to be optimistic when we have a lot of young guys and iso guys, but hopefully as the losses pile up, it’ll stress the importance of playing team basketball and making sure you show up EVERY night. It’s frustrating to see, but it is a good lesson for a young team to learn.
Without DJ, I want to see this team driving more to the basket. Last night would’ve been great for them to do that, but instead they chucked up 40+ threes. They get upset when they get contact on the way to rim but it isn’t called. They just really have to assert themselves and keep going at it and eventually, somebody will give them the calls. If they do that consistently every game, they’ll eventually get the superstar calls on the way to the line a bit more consistently.

Yeah, Kyrie's been taking a beating at the rim the past few games with nothing called, so you can't really blame him for not wanting to drive as much lately.

True. Refs have something against Kyrie. Maybe it’s because they love LeBron so much that they want to punish Kyrie for daring to leave him. But for the rest of the team, it’d be nice to see them attack the basket more consistently. Except for Tatum. I know he’ll lose his grip on the ball halfway in the air.

so many offensive possessions from last night of players standing around w/o any ball movement, no screens, no space creation.. just absolute trash of playing selfish basketball. literally happened 10 consecutive possessions of dribble half court and a bunch of tall guys standing around/doing nothing. fyi coach stevens, baynes has zero business shooting threes.
