Feel like this NBA trade deadline is going to be kind of quiet. But then I remember that Blake already got moved and franchises like the Orlando Magic exist.

We're not getting Aaron Gordon without offering the LA/SAC pick.
If we get Gordon we can't afford Smart so might as well include him in the trade.

We’re going to build a wall... and the Cavs are going to pay for it!

If I'm the Cavs and I see LeBron bolting I dangle the BKN pick for AG.

Did you try to read the writing on the wall
Did that voice inside you say I've heard it all before
It's like Deja Vu all over again

If I'm the Cavs, I'm already dangling Lebron in trades. Why? Because it will be beneficial for both sides. Cavs get something for him, since they know he's leaving. Lebron, due to his NTC, can pick and choose which team he goes to, all while avoiding the embarrassment of losing before getting to the Finals. He gets a built-in excuse for this season if he's dealt.

I get that from a logical standpoint. But I don't think the CLE front office could stomach the bad optics. Trade away your hometown hero a year out of a finals appearance? That's a bad look. Plus, it's still too early to pencil anyone in.

Probably as good a time as any to say this:
you've really added a lot to the forum in your short time here. Glad to have you here.

That would certainly be a possible destination for him....But they would have to sweeten the pot a might.....And having Lebron leave town might just set the wheels in motion there? That's an interesting scenario for sure...Do they dare to blow it up at this point?
The owner was rumored to be selling out?

Bad optics? Nah. Lebron left them once, and he'll leave them again. The fans will understand if the Cavs don't want to be the dumped girlfriend twice.
