People still bashing Boogie ? This guy can do everything on the court. He is not the immature guy he used to be in Sac.
Mirotic has a lot to do with Pelicans recent success too.
I dont see AD leaving NO. They need a wing and a bench scorer, and they will be contender.

I'd love to have rondo back for the min next year.
He's not signing for the minimum if he keeps doing what he's doing. He's having a really good year overall.

Exactly. And by all signs he'll be back in NOLA for at least another year, for around MLE money (5-6 mil) and has a starting spot guaranteed. Hopefully he can get a longer contract, preferably 3 years so he finally finds some consistency.

If he shows out in the playoffs No la should at least give him a 2 for 12 type contract with a player option next year. If he shows out again let him get one good payday in his career. He can do it always was able to just needs to keep his emotions in check. The talent has always been there.

NOLA has been playing well lately. It will be interesting to see how their post season goes. if Rondo doesn't get injured in last season, I think there is a good chance the Bulls would have swept the Celtics in round one. I'd love to see some vintage playoff Rondo giving the Pelicans and extra lift and pushing them deep into the playoffs and upsetting GS or Houston.

I doubt it. Pels are capped out, they can’t get any big pieces. They need a legitimate all star added.

If that's the case, even with the extenuating circumstances of Leonard being mentally fragile at the moment, don't you have to make an offer if you are the Celtics? It's not as if Kawhi hasn't exhibited great skill and mental toughness in the past.

Let's go Danny, we ready.

I think they would just give him his money tbh. They aren't trading a top 5 NBA player for 'pennies on the dollar' just because he's a diva..that's just not very 'Spurs' like.

This is very weird to me because Kawhi doesn't seem like the diva type. He would be the last player in the NBA I ccould see pulling this off..I still think this is San Antonio's fault more than his..they must have done something wrong there to push him to react this way.

Yea combine this with his low shooting percentages and to me RW has been a stat padder for most of his career. Still amazing athlete and competitor, capable of beating teams on his own at times, but very flawed.
Good assessment:

Yea but still..would be franchise suicide to let your super duper star player go for pennies on the dollar. They might go hard to trade him before they pay him but they won't take pennies..it's going to have to be a major incoming value to let him go. A trade with Boston for example probably only happens if Tatum and Brown are going out along with the Sacto pick..

Exactly. Hope he's alright, but if he were to go down, the finals look much more open.

Still have to get through the East though. That's no easy task.

True but Cleveland is semi banged up as well. You never know what can happen.

Honest to God, why were they playing Curry tonight anyway? They don't need to. :noway: I got a bad feeling on this, I hope I am wrong.

I refuse to believe these two guys won't be in the postseason until it's official. It would be a travesty. They are just too damn good.

I know if we were ever in the finals against them we want the easier road. But I LOVE LOVE LOVE watching Curry/Irving battle it out. It's like basketball porn.

Golden State has had absurd injury luck the past 3 years. Sooner or later that **** bites you in the ass. Very unfortunate, but such is life. I personally would love to see Curry and Klay sidelined in round 1 and an 8th seed putting a whupping on that POS Durant all by himself..
